Hello, welcome to the September 2024 edition of Community Highlights! This thread compiles the latest CubeCraft news and updates as well as the highlights of recent community content into just one thread. Let's get started with the main updates!
Summer Competition Winners 
Throughout the summer event, CubeCraft hosted a summer creation competition! This was hosted and the winners were announced only on the Discord server, so if you missed it, here are the winning submissions!

Dragons Invade CubeCraft! 
On September 19th, the server added to their epic loot collection with the new dragon buddy! This single store items costs 1955 minecoins, but there is a lot of features packed in! The buddy itself comes in six different coloured variants and can be given a custom name. But the best part is, you can mount and fly with your dragon! This new buddy shows off a lot of potential for what the buddies system can offer, it will be interesting to see if the team does anything with this in the future! As well as this, two new maps were added to the server. The first is Halls, a new FFA map which seems to be popular with the community, and a new solo Lucky Islands map called Dragons.

Rank Loot Refresh 
Towards the end of the month, many of the loot from the SkyWars and EggWars ranks were refreshed, to give them a more cute and polished look. Many of them have animations now, too! The image below shows what the items looked like before, versus what they look like now.

Now that we have covered all of the major updates, let’s take a look at some of the smaller changes!
September 2nd
- The price of the Toy Bundle has been reduced.
- Map selection now only shows the amount of players waiting in your region instead of globally.
- Gamemode selection for giga blockwars has been added.
- Community Games #6 was held on the official Discord server.

What’s Next? 
CubeCraft's public update board is a great place to see what is coming next to CubeCraft. You can find projects that the CubeCraft team is working on, and sometimes you'll even find spoilers!
This month, the 2024 halloween event was added to the board and has since reached the testing stage. This event currently does not have a public release date, but halloween is approaching so it should be soon! From the information shared, we know that Ender will be returning to both Java and Bedrock, as will many of the past halloween bundles (being rotated throughout the event via the weekly shop). There is also a list of returning maps, some of which have not been seen in years!

Add cages from the Plus rank back to Cubecraft by @Loskol
If you're a Java player, you might remember the plus rank, a subscription rank which was replaced by subscription versions of the other ranks in August 2023. The plus rank also came with exclusive cosmetics which are no longer obtainable due to the changes, so Loskol suggests to make them obtainable again!

After the success of the new epic dragon buddy, Hoshi suggests some new epic buddies to be added with similar unique features! No update is complete without some new themed maps, so in this thread, that is covered as well!
Lobby Parkour Free Rewards by @hoppyfrog28_
It is a well-known fact that you can obtain a couple of free cosmetics from completing the lobby parkour in the main lobby, but what about all the other lobbies? hoppyfrog28_ thinks there is a great opportunity for more free loot by adding free rewards to the other lobby parkours.
