I really think you should try out the changes with more than just skywars... is it not possible to add an eggwars and possibly bridge as betas too, maybe egg solos for example. Just to give you a bit more validated feedback as to whether or not it will fundamentally change the gameplay on the other game modes (and possibly make them less enjoyable).

Case in point: I'm sure it's unintended but the kb on the bow has rolled out across all games and I can say.. it changes bridge from a game where bows weren't important to a game where bow spammers just make it unenjoyable, even with just a few arrows. eg before you at least had a bit of a chance of clutching if you were bowed, now you're off into the ether. My point being, that sometimes small changes can change the way games are played in ways perhaps unintended.

Amazing job with fixing the knockback from the last KB beta, I was not satisfied with that and I'm really glad that the developing team is listening to the feedback of the community. I really like the default vanilla bedrock PvP, and that's why I loved the Cubecraft PvP. I love everything with this current Beta except snowballs and eggs being a tad delayed and not enough KB, other than that, it's perfect.

The knockback has calmed down slightly but still will leave non-pc players at a large disadvantage. All comes down to who can afford the best graphics card and have the best wifi. Surely it would just make sense to add this to java only if it's not already there. I really think it should just be left alone- why try to fix a problem when there isn't one?

Why haven't you put in all the maps and only selected the two flat and two normal maps?

I like it, its even better than the first kb test which i already thought was good enough. It feels exactly like 1.8.9. Its just less laggy and wonky overall. Good job Cube

I like to see how the staff are trying to help the community to make the game more fun even if i dont like this new kb :D

Today, we're releasing our second version of our Experimental Knockback! After reading all of your feedback on our initial release thread, we have decided to make a few changes! Read on to find out more... šŸ‘€

šŸ“œ Changelog!

- Decreased vertical knockback slightly: We did not want to decrease it to the point that combos were impossible, however, we've decreased it so you don't go flying when you're in a fight.

- Increased horizontal knockback slightly: Though the difference is rather negligible (for reference, the number was increased by 0.003 in code), we think this helps with getting combos on players, especially with the reduced vertical knockback.

- Added bow knockback: The knockback on projectiles, at the moment, is rather lacklustre. We're looking into implementing better knockback for projectiles like eggs and snowballs, however, we were able to adjust the bow knockback so that it isn't inconsistent as well. Be sure to leave us feedback on this!

- Removed sprint reset when getting a hit on a player: This was pretty annoying and inconvenient for most players.

- Added platform-specific games.

We've also been experimenting with platform specific games, as mentioned in this thread.
For the last week, platform specific games have been enabled on our Knockback Testing gamemode, and are looking for feedback on this.

We understand that there may be some concerns, and we've tried to address most of them, but if there are any more concerns regarding this, please comment on this thread! If you're looking for an answer, feel free to click on any of these questions, as they have popped up in the initial feedback thread.

So, is this system always on?
This removes the challenge for mobile players
My games are more difficult
This will kill the game

Stream sniping is now ruined
I thought the problem was the knockback, who mentioned anything to do with platforms?
Why not add an option for this? So, I either queue with my same platform, or everyone?

After playing a few games, we'd like for you to vote on the poll on this thread, as well as the separate thread for platform-specific games. We're hoping that, if the support for the new KB and the platform-specific games are positive, we'll release this within a week or so! I'm super excited about this as it's been a problem on our network for a really long time now, and it's finally getting fixed! šŸŽ‰

Well, they are testing platform based matchmaking at the moment, so soon we could see all of that problem gone in a second.

Ok So hereā€™s the thing. I personally Thing the knock back is good maybe a little less high and far tho. Knockback is TO far! people will just rush with there fist and knock people of! Also bow spammers just kille people bye spamming the bow. So just do the same thing but not as far
