I find 1.9 not laggy at all.
I used to get 60 fps while using 1.8 without optifine unlike 1.9 which I used without optifine and get over 100.

What is the question you are asking? If you want an answer you'd want to ask a question.
Oh yeah, and this is what the original question I was talking about was :):
Here's a question: How much FPS do you get in Vanilla 1.8? How much FPS do you get in 15w38a?

Should I submit a ticket? It seems Mojang has no intent to fix it in 1.9.1 even though a bug report has been submitted.

So, 1.9 has officially been released, and the lag has still not cleared. I seriously need help! Any theories/ideas?

And ps I tried installing OptiFine 1.9.

And ps someone also help with this.

Also, the main menu also lags.
Some times you get some laggspikes but that's it...
I think it are just your settings! ;)

Are you still having this issue? If so I'd recommend uninstalling Java 8 and using Java 7 as I find it runs a lot more smoother and once you open minecraft hit control + alt + delete and open task manager.

Fyi, don't allocate more ram to your minecraft due to you only having 4GB of ram.

Edit; I also get 400+ FPS without optifine.

If it doesnt work the first time keep trying till it works. It took me about 4 tries then it worked.
