All Networks Add a brand new event: Nostalgia Event

Hello CubeCrafters!

I have a suggestion for everyone, especially for the OG players out there.

Introducing: Nostalgia event!

In this event, players will get to experience the classic CubeCraft content, such as maps, cosmetics, and a fan favorite LTM.

Here is the proposed content for the event:

Retro Lobby (2018-2021) (Game portals return? Up for debate since there may not be enough space for them but would be nice to see them return)

New item hunt: Cubelet hunt (Find 25 Cubelets to win a cage/win effect + prefix)
Proposed rewards:
Good Game win effect and [Nostalgia] prefix (Bedrock)
Something brand new (Java)

Nostalgic maps added to Bedrock Edition / Added to rotation on Java

Examples:
Pokemon - Solo SkyWars
Swords - Solo SkyWars
Beach - Solo SkyWars
Candy - Solo EggWars
End - Solo EggWars
Stronghold - Solo EggWars
Pizza - EggWars Duos
Football - EggWars Duos
Space - EggWars Squads

Nostalgia Bundle: Contains a few cosmetics ported from CubeCraft Java to Bedrock.
Proposed price: 990 minecoins

LTM: Speed EggWars (returns on Java, added to Bedrock)
Faster paced version of EggWars, maps are smaller than normal.
Bedrock will have both Solo and Team modes. As for Java, that is up for debate.

Proposed start month: June 2025? (Up for debate, if this suggestion is approved)
Event length: 4 weeks

Possible questions:
1 - Will this be a yearly event?
That is the plan. Every year, new sets of nostalgic maps are added. However, unlike the other events, I propose that popular maps in this event are added permanently.

2 - Speed EggWars?
Yes! I would like to see this game be brought back and especially added to Bedrock, since most players didn't get to experience it and I feel like it would be a great LTM. On Bedrock, this game would use the same lobby as the OG Java EggWars lobby. Additionally, an NPC will be placed at the EggWars lobby to teleport you to that lobby.

What do you think of the suggestion? Do you have any further ideas or changes would you make to this event? What maps would you like to see in the event? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I really like the idea, but I’m afraid this requires a lot of development, which is already limited.

The only doubt I might have, would it still be the same as how we used to know is.

I can only speak about Java in this case as unfortunately I haven't been playing Bedrock during this time, how would it look now, Java updated to 1.20 a few months(?) ago, and of course quite some things changed regarding new blocks and textures.

However, if this would work out great, I, and I think others aswell would love to see them back in the map rotations aswell! :D
