I think this would strongly encourage teaming, even if it is banable, this would be setting the stakes too high that people would consider the risk,
I understand your point that it encourages teaming, but isn't that with all rewards? And as long as there is no team/squad mode (I know this takes a lot of time and that the solo mode should be improved first), there will be more teamers anyway.
Consistency is important.
Oh c'mon, there are a lot of inconsistent thing right now:
1. Dead teammates (not) getting the win after teammates winning the game;
2. The 'teaming in solo is bannable' message;
3. Different lobbies: Signs - Armor stands.
By the way, Minerware also has a top 3 winners ;)
we don't reward the 2nd player in survival games, skywars, eggwars....
Well these games go a lot faster. I just feel like after getting so far and losing the final duel, you deserve some sort of very small compensation.
I think it would be better to reward players for getting kills, people usually get about 5-15 kills per game so 2pts per kill, everyone wins, and this way teaming is not rewarded.
Yeah, rewarding kills does indeed give you compensation for getting far. Also, teaming greatly increases the chances of winning, so teaming is also rewarded (if you don't look at the ban risk).
I do get your point of the teaming increase, and I definitely don't deny that. Thanks for your feedback, I didn't think about that factor ;)
