Ok, lemme get straight to the point. I think we can all agree that cubecraft is dying and there may be some of you cubecraft f words (sorry for the aggressive language) that say “no cubecraft will remain strong in our hearts! <3 :(,” yeh about that shut up. Ok anyways. Cubecraft is dying and lemme explain to all you brain dead staff that are making cubecraft’s a decision on why your minecraft server is dying.
-First, your MC partnership with mojang is taking you nowhere. If you guys haven’t noticed yet, minecraft won’t partner up with a server that is about to die. If you think it’s not dying, look at the recent stats. The highest amount of ppl the server had in the past was about 32,000 now, let’s say around 4,000 people, and that lasted for about a hour.
-Second, that party chat filter thing u guys added a couple of month ago was obviously the best decision you could’ve ever made right? Yeh, shut up look at the amount of complaints u guys got for that.
-Third, banning YouTube advertising, this one was a big no no. Ok, so, if u brain dead staff haven’t realized this already... the only way u guys will attract players into your community is by YouTubers who actively stream on your server. Some of you idiots mighty argue and say “WE HAVE YOUTUBER RANKS WHO CAN ADVERTISE AND MAKE VIDEOS OF THE SERVER!!!” yeh honestly shut up, because you onlyyyyy need 50k subscribers to get the YouTube rank and none of your youtubers even make videos about cubecraft anymore. So you guys should definitely allow YouTubers to advertise their channels
-Fourth, ok I’ve read a lot of suggestions before and the recent thread that really just made me wanna smash my phone was the thread that got escalated about health indicators being unfair. Ok since you staff are obvious not the smartest lemme just tell u this. If you’re planning to have 27ppl play on your server a day then yeh add it, if not then dump that trash right back into your useless brains. Anyways my point is you guys need to listen to a lot of other threads, not the ones that would take away excitement for your players. Example for useful threads: Making cube more competitive, updating games modes that people actually play on, etc.
-Fifth, as listed above make your server more competitive, no one wants to play the same game mode over and over again without it even meaning anything
-Sixth, get rid of these two year old gamemodes, I love how you guys tried to copy fortnite. This is where you guys really just messed up and wasted time. Why in the world would someone spend $26 to play MINECRAFT FORTNITE (oh sorry BATTLE AREA or some other fruity name! :)) with literally 2 people in each game instead of just playing fortnite. I think we can all agree that what I just said is true. Honestly if you think it’s not you gotta go see a psychiatrist, go get that raisin sized brain checked out.

So after reviewing this bit you made here, you make some points that I'm not going to choose a side on. However the cosmetics of your thread could be thrown out. Such as the hostility and the extra name calling. Not that you have too, but if you want to be taken seriously then I'd suggest making a bit more of a formal post that doesn't insult literally everyone in the community.

If you don't like playing then please, feel free to seek out another place that fits your needs or wants better. :P

YouTubers indeed bring potential new players to the server but channels with just 42 subscribers? Doubt it. This no-advertisement rule honestly just got rid of annoying spam in the chat.

Sixth, get rid of these two year old gamemodes, I love how you guys tried to copy fortnite. This is where you guys really just messed up and wasted time. Next time you make a thread of these, please try to give a more detailed argument instead of the way you currently describe problems. Also knock it off with the "ur braindead" stuff. None of the other Staff members will really take your feedback serious this way.

The server has on average tens of thousands of people join daily. The server is not dying. If you think tens of thousands of daily players is a “dead server” then I don’t know what isn’t.

The addition of the party filter is an understandable choice. A huge amount of the server is young and I’m not sure they would appreciate loads of swearing that could be prevented. I do agree though that there needs to be a toggle in there to toggle the filter but it must be agreed by every single member of the party.

The thread on damage indicators was escalated because they have a good point. I personally use a damage indicator and I can tell how much nicer it is to play and how much of an advantage it is.

There is plenty of competitiveness on the server. People are constantly competing to be the best or better and its nice to see. Also, it means plenty. To some people it can mean that they are good and make them feel better etc. People enjoy playing the same game over and over.

There is more than 2 people playing Battle Zone. Most games get to about 80+ people so that’s not true. Also, people didn’t just pay the $25 dollars to play Minecraft for just one game. There are countless games so its not like they wasted money on just 1 game that you personally dislike.

All the staff members are active from what ive seen. Just because you don’t see mods around all the time it doesn’t mean they are inactive. List me 3 mods that are inactive. And maybe I’ll believe you.

Another one of those threads, great. CubeCraft is far from dying. It still has a few thousand people around here.

1. That’s basically because 1.9. A lot of players decided to not play it. Although 1.9 was a disaster at first, it still means that cubecraft gets more players, because 1.9 PvP is the main PvP mode at the moment, this is the biggest 1.9 network. Do you see the connection?
2. Gotta agree that it’s annoying. But that however isn’t a reason to leave the server, maybe for 10 people.
3. The reason why that’s turned off is to don’t make CubeCraft an advertisement bomb. You’re playing because you enjoy the games, not because you would like 40 YT advertisements per second.
4. Health indicators makes you see the health of a player, which means you have an advantage of knowing when to run and attack. An advantage others do not have.
5. All gamemodes are competitive. Exept for freebuild. You’re playing against other players. We also have leaderboards for every single game, how isn’t that competitive enough?
6. Everyone likes the game, it doesn’t even take 1 minute to Get a full game, 100 players If you didn’t know. This is absolutely no waste of time.
7. Most of the staff are active but not visable in game. The prefixes are fine imo.

Well you really made a thread with a strong language. Talking about other people their braincells does not cover up your dumb arguments. It was a hell of a thread to read but i Made it. Having staff members like Quetzi and TheJeroen seems to be a step in the right direction. Quetzi stays up-to-date with issues from the players and TheJeroen is a logical player that's realized what a Tower Defence match (without a full team of friends) is like. That said, I feel like it's too late for Cubecraft at this rate. They've made choices like revamping Tower Defence entirely when the community didn't want it to be revamped and removed games like Quake Craft and TNT run. It's good to see that Quake Craft is back and appealing to Minecraft players that are interested in Battle Royale-style games wasn't the worst decision. That said, some of those choices happened a bit too late. Players that left when Quake Craft was removed, Tower Defence was updated, or when TNT run was removed.... well, they've left. Most of them will probably think thoughts like "I had fun on Cubecraft. Too bad my favorite game was removed." and even if they found out that their favorite game was back, they may still not have a reason to stay. Think about this for a moment: Their friends have probably left because their favorite game was changed/removed, there's a chance that Cubecraft will remove their favorite game again, and most of the time, it's not worth mentioning your concerns on the forums. I've heard players upset about hardcore mode on Tower Defence and as far as I know, it's still a problem. There aren't many Tower Defence players left, so even if there are just roughly ten upset players, the matter should still be handled in some way. I think that Cubecraft had potential before, but my opinions and thoughts are like the title of this post. I believe that Cubecraft's on its final downhill slope.

Also, I liked that you brought up that competitive players don't really have a reason to stay on here. Check out this thread from ages ago: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/b...wer-defense-ranking-system-and-league.170029/ I don't think that many people on the forums would have taken you seriously even if you mentioned it though. I've mentioned it, kept my posts positive, kept my hopes up, and I've been let down several times. With or without evidence showing the community's desires, your suggestions or comments are likely to be overlooked or discarded - that's my experience on the forums anyways.
