Going to do these for most of the games over time. Now EggWars is our most popular game and we have a lot of maps for it. I want to know what your favourite and least favourites maps are.

This information will help the build team improve on 'certain' aspects for future maps or even little improvements to our current maps from your feedback.
You can pick as many maps as you want. Please use this format

This is an example

Favourites:
Space (Team) - Just always tend to have really fun games on this map
Steampunk (Solo) - Layout is very unique and pretty fun to destroy so many eggs on

Least favourite:
Storm (Team) - The island surface is horrible to place blocks on
Vegeatables (Team) - Too much detail with heads, and obstacles everywhere to get a good clean fight

Favourites:
Vegetables (Team) - Easiest map to rush other bases and take other eggs.
Pizza (Team) - Extremely fun to play on, and very fast paced too, trying to get to the diamond generator.

Least favourite:
Fairground (Team) - Too easy for other's to steal your egg, they can easily jump from the ferrace wheel and break your egg.
Construction (Solo) -Too much space between Mid, Sub-Mid, and all of the bases.

5. Toys (Team) - Very fast paced, lots of room to PvP, minimal camping
4. Mine (Solo) - Having many generators at mid, and a bracket setup helps the game go very fast.
3. Teaparty (Team) - It has a great setup, there are many generators in center, and it is hard to camp.
2. Safari (Solo) - The islands have a connection to mid, so nobody uses bows and it's always a very fast game.
1. Forest (Team) - This map is so good to rush on, it's practically impossible to camp, and is very fast paced.

Least Favourites

5. Area 51 (Team) - The islands are way too far apart to rush, and mid doesn't look overly great. It also lacks room to PvP effectively.
4. Treehouse (Team) - There are too many campers; because there are too many places to hide. In addition, the egg is in a really annoying spot, and reaching it takes forever, especially late game when people have punch bows.
3. Aztec (Team) - This map LOOKS great, but gameplay wise it's horrible. If you try to get resources from center, you'll get punched in the lava. Therefore, almost everyone camps at home base, not to mention the egg has the same issue as it does on treehouse.
2. Candy (Solo) - It's good for rushing, but there is no room to PvP and islands are too small.
1- Underdasea (Team) - A game on this map almost never takes less than 40 minutes. Mid is horrible for PvP and islands are way too far apart. There are far too many campers, and there is only one way to counter them: Build down along the terraforming and make an underbidge. Sometimes, not even that works and it just doesn't fit up to gameplay standards.

Favorites
Teaparty (team) - the only large map with lots of players on Eggwars. The middle is a great area for big fights.
Toys (team): fast paced map in which you can easily rush teams, but it's also easy to get to mid.

Least favorites:
Storm (team): the snow is glitchy and in my opinion it's too hard to get to the middle without being rushed.
Rome (team): too hard to get iron and if one egg gets destroyed, the other team has already won. You don't get to do much yourself in such a big team.
Underdasea (team): the islands are way to far from eachother, so a game on this map will always take very long due to campers. Also the middle is bad for pvp.

I never play solo eggwars, so I'm not gonna list solo maps.

Storm (Team) - Fast games.
UnderDaSea (Team) - Fun to play on with friends

Least favourite:
I don't know... (I almost never play EggWars)

Favorite

Teaparty- It's a big area and there's enough space for pvp, this is also the only map with 5p teams which I prefer (if i'm right). The gameplay and map are both just great.


Least favorites

Vegeatables- I don't like all the details on the islands, I think it should be more flat so people have more space for pvp. There are way too much obstacles.

Fairground- I think it's a beautiful map but the gameplay is terrible in my opinion.

Storm- The islands are too close to eachother and I've never been to mid on that map because people always rush to your island.

Favorites:
Rome: An awesome map! Really nice when you want a quick win because you just rush the enemy. Also great for when you are playing with a big team.
Space: Not too big, not too small. This map is good enough in my opinion.
Kingdom: Amazing design and plays the same like all other 4Team 4Player Maps.
Magic: Same with Kingdom/Space.
Least favorite:
Treehouse: The location of the egg kinda ruins the game. I'd prefer the Gold Generator to be on the Egg Location, the Iron Generators on the Gold Location and the Egg somewhere on the ground.
Teaparty: It's really big, and if you look at the amount of teams... Games on this map last for way too long in my opinion.

I don't play Solo EggWars but Safari is my favorite by far. I just rush to mid and break Eggs for some points.

 

[Anmazing]

Favourites:
Kingdom (Team) - Really like the castles, layout of islands, leaves and all other details.
Snowy (Solo) - Simple, clean terrain, without any distracting elements - perfect!
Pizza (Team) - One of the most creative maps, in my opinion; wouldn't change a single thing.
Mine (Solo) - One of my favourite solo maps because of it's unique layout; again, nothing should be changed.
Rome (Team) - This map brings a different experience than all the other ones; colosseum is amazing, with many different ways to get around.
Teaparty (Team) - Castles are fantastic, love the design of those chairs; only possible issue could be camping underneath the middle.

Least favourite:
Tropical (Solo) - Nicely built, trees are really cool; islands with diamond generators should have more space around them.
Space (Team) - Unique layout, well-built; camping on planets could sometimes be a problem.
Construction (Solo) - Cranes are too tall, perfect for camping; otherwise, the map looks pretty good.

 

[Earth]

Don't play solo. So not gonna list any of those.\

Favourites:

Area51: It's a pretty nice map, you can PvP well enough on the islands, though on mid it's quite annowying because of those blocks everywhere, and it's annoying you have to build UP to get back to your Island. But this doesn't mean I don't like the map.

Aztec: Mid is just lovely and it's extremely funny to knock other people in lava. Though the egg is in a very obnoxious spot as you have no chance to save it when you get killed TRYING to save it, because the obsidian probably broke before you could even get there. But the same as Area51, This doen't mean I don't like the map. In fact, it's my 2nd favourite map ;)

Fairground: I like this map pretty much because you can sneak to islands on so many ways. Mid is also pretty nice as there is Always that one naked guy camping on the level 3 generator.

Kingdom: Same as fairground. Though I don't like the fact that it only has 1 iron generator, as on Magic it has 4 iron gens..

Space: This is my all-time favourite map. Mid isn't oversized and the islands also have a nice touch. The egg isn't impossible to save when you die, and the games I play on space usually only last for 15-30 minutes.


Least favourites:

Dwarven: I hate snowy islands as the snow Always gets in your way, glitches or is just plain annoying. I also find it pretty dumb that Pink and Orange get a different Island.

Storm: Same as Dwarven.

Tea party: This map is just way too oversized. There is also only 1 iron generator for 5 PEOPLE

Treehouse: I don't like this map because it's extremely common to get knocked / shot off on mid or on your Island. The egg is also on 1 of THE most OBNOXIOUS AND DUMB spots of Eggwars history.

Under da sea: The islands and mid are just way too far away from each other.

Vegetables: Oh boy. I hate this map with my entire life. Why? Well let me explain to you. 1st of all, the islands are WAY TOO DETAILED so everything gets in your way. The islands are also WAY TOO SMALL and the egg is in a really dumb spot as you mostly have to build up to it. I hate mid the most as there are 2 rings of mid? Why? Don't ask me. There are blocks sprayed everywhere like it was made by a 7 Year old. (no offense) So it's dang near impossible to have a good PvP fight as everything gets in your way. You also have no chance of escaping at all because again, everything gets in your way. There are just too many obstacles.

I only play team so there will not be any solo maps in my opinions list :)
Aztec: I like it because there is a lot of teamwork that needs to be involved in guarantying win. Un less you are like me, and tend to rush and doesn't care what happens, then this will be a good map for people looking for cooperation with their team.
Forest: Even if it is only a two player map, It is still a great map overall, the generators are where you can find them easily, close quarter pvp, and can guarantee you a fast game if you are in a rush.
Teaparty: Great map, great terrain details, and the outcomes can depend on your skills and cooperation with your team!

Sorry there are no details here I wrote this in a rush, obviously I like close bracket system maps and camping maps(I'm an all around guy, altho I hate any map where I'm against buildbuild25 or ShadyUnder :P)

10. Magic (Team) - The map is designed amazing, and it's usually a very fast round
9. Snowy (Solo) The snow is even, so there is enough room to PvP and there aren't any campers!
8. Kingdom (Team) - This would be my 3rd favorite map if it weren't for one thing: A lack of iron. There is only 1 level 2 generator per island and there aren't any at mid! The map looks amazing however!
7. Pizza (Team) - The islands can be built between with as little as 16 blocks, so it is great for rushing!
6. End (Solo) - I love this map for the same reasons as safari in my post above

5. Toys (Team) - Very fast paced, lots of room to PvP, minimal camping

10. Steampunk (Solo) - This map is very cramped and there is not much room to PvP. In double and triple health, many people drop to the bottom and camp.
9/8. Dwarven / Storm (Team) - I don't like these maps because the uneven snow makes it impossible to PvP.
7. Construction (Solo) - The islands are too far apart and there are far too many campers.
6. Vegetables (Team) - You can not go anywhere on this map, it is just too detailed. The map is very buggy and PvP is next to impossible.

[Britney Spears]

Toys is a map I like very much because it's very small and you just have to be really focused on everything that's happening around you since the islands are really close to each other so you'll never know when danger is in sight.


Pizza , same as what I said about toys , but I really like the smaller islands between two islands like where the two diamond generators are , it makes you like , fight for the generators instead of just getting 5 diamonds and camp on your island for the rest of the game.

Instruments , I like this map because it's a map where you can win very fast by just going to mid and go to the other islands. You can easily win a game on this map in less than 10 minutes.

Medieval is also a map where the islands are very close to each other which I really prefer :D


I can't really tell which maps are my least favourite because I usually just play these maps when I play eggwars because I think they're awesome. But overall they all seem very cool :p

Favorite Maps​

✯ Forest - All time favorite two man map.

• I really like how you can go ninja style on the trees, hide behind them and wait for your enemy to past by before you run to their base. The generators are also easy to find, nicely made map.

✯ Toys - Another really liked two man map.

• Really cutely made, you can also go ninja style from the back of your egg to theirs which I really like a lot.

✯ Pizza - I love pizza, awesome two man map.

• One of the most yummy food and you get to play on it. I like the details on it and it's one of the few maps where you have to get out of your base to get diamonds.

✯ Underdasea - One of my favorite three man maps.

• It takes awhile to get to middle but once you do, you can jump on someones bridge and run to their base. It's also challenging because you have to watch out for both sides of the jellyfish (if you're in the middle island) and that brings excitement. You have to be aware of your surroundings and take out teams while at it.

✯ Fairground - Another nice three man map.

• Going around in a merry go'round getting the generators, how cute is that? Totally fits the theme of the build. It's fast to upgrade your basic gens while getting to mid or player base since everyone aims for the top diamond gen at the start. I really like this map and the colors it has.

✯ Oriental - Japanese themed four man map.

• I love how each team represent an element, it's as though we're nations fighting each other to be the last team standing instead of just teams. Quite some distance to get to middle but that's fine as it gives us time to cover the egg and get armor/tools for more than one player. You can also hide on the roof on your enemy base while waiting for them to leave to middle. A fitting ninja style.

✯ Tea Party - Oh boy, five man map.

• The middle of the map is beautiful, I can't describe how much i love the table, the cakes and overall, the structure. Generators can be a little tough to find in middle for newcomers but you get used to it. You can even play hide and seek with your enemies hoping they'll lose you or get to the edge where you can surprise them from behind.

Least Favorite Maps

✂ Vegetables - One of the least enjoyable two man map.

• Not a food I'd eat. It took me quite awhile to figure out where the egg was, didn't really like the structure and the mid-way to middle. Sometimes you lag back, hit a block or get semi stuck in it (magically) and just fall off. Perhaps my internet couldn't handle it.

✂ Storm - Two man map I wouldn't like to play on.

• It's hard to know if it's a snow slab and you place it half a slab higher than you want to with the blocks, don't really like the diamond generator placing as well.

Neutral with the rest of the maps.

Small update:

Kingdom: There is too much tall grass and it really gets in your way while PVPing

Under da sea: Too many obstacles on mid. Mid isn't "flat" enough.
