My favourite maps (Including teams and Solo.)
Favourites:
End (Solo) I like the idea of having an already made bridge to mid, except, unlike safari (which I will cover later) it's not way too fast paced that people are going straight for the eggs. PVP is ideal for this solo map. The best part is, it's not easy to camp, and you don't need pearls, this feature saves blocks.
Steampunk (Solo) This map is perfect. It's a interesting design, because in overpowered, if you land on the clouds below, you don't die, this can open up even more opportunities for easily countering campers, jump down, go to the guys base, pile up, that's the egg destroyed!
Instruments (Teams) This a fantastic map, it's got great ways of PVP, the islands are well spaced out, and I like the edges of the islands, so if you fall, you have a small chance of surviving, the PVP is great for this map.
Storm (Teams) Unlike a lot of people, I actually really like this map, I have a really good strategy for it, which works a lot of the time. I think you should just get rid of some of the snow layers, as it can be tricky to place blocks. Aside from that, there's nothing wrong with this map.
Least favourites:
Teepee (Solo) I think this map could use a lot of work. Firstly, you have no diamond gen at your base, so it can get really tricky. You can climb on the tents and camp there, too, which is not good for the PVP aspect. Middle is great though, some changes have got to be made to the players' islands though.
Safari (Solo) Um. Yeah. So basically this map is fast paced. TOO fast paced. People rush other peoples islands in seconds, to the point where I don't have time to get a bit of armour or gear up, as long as you have a bit of food and the Shell Cracker kit, you're good to go. This is a little unfair and could use a lot of work. Since you have to walk up the vines connecting to mid, people can just camp up there and wait for you to get to the top, then knock you off.
Fairground (Teams) This map needs some work. Middle is a little messy, with too many blocks in the way, the PVP is really tricky on every single island including middle. The decoration aspect is there, the PVP is not. Definitely not cubecraft's best work.
Vegetables (Teams) Ughhh, this map is not well done, there are way too many blocks in the way, the eggs are in such weird places you get confused. The wheat fields are so buggy it's unbearable (You get thrown back in these fields) The PVP aspect is not there and the decoration needs a bit of work. Probably the worst map.
This was just my opinion. But these are the maps that need either a small bit of work on, don't need changed at all, or are fine the way they are.
EDIT: There are a lot of maps that are fantastic, I didn't include them because it would take too long, all the maps I think need work on are the least favourites I mentioned.
