It's been like 2 years since the iconic and unique elytra maps called Flowers and Space were removed. I think it's the perfect time to bring them back or atleast make a rotation for them because they were really loved in the community and made so many people quit the server sadly. And I know you cannot make every community happy but since Cubecraft does rotation for gamemodes like Skywars and Eggwars I think you can rotate maps in Free For All aswell. Now you only have the ability to play normal ground maps instead of variation between the maps and pvp styles. that makes it a bit stale. The elytra community was complaining years for not adding another elytra map and then they removed the only 2 aswell... so i hope you guys read this and atleast rotate the elytra maps back in the gamemode because they are really cool and so many people miss them. Adding them to bedrock is also a possibility because i've spoke to some people that they would like to have these kind of maps on bedrock, so why not?

I don't think they will bring it back
I mean they could 100% rotate FFA maps right? if they can do it with skywars and eggwars map then ffa should not be difficult either and it also brings an old big community back on the server.

We don't have any plans to make wing maps have a return. They were very unpopular choices for maps, and users didn't prefer them over the main non-wings maps. Also if they were to return, it would be on Java only, as operating an elytra on a phone/touch device sucks. The upcoming map rotations have already been decided, but maybe in the future, we can fit in Space into FFA map rotation, big maybe :D

I completely disagree with you. Those maps were so fun to play and a lot of time had a good amount of players. And even then I don't understand why the staff team doesn't try to bring them back. I am a developer so I know how creating games is like and you guys already have the maps and already have the plugins. All you have to do is change the ItemStack to elytra for the chest part. It's faster then that minigame u guys made in 1 day so I don't see the issue to throw in an old ffa fly map. You guys already rescripted ffa for 1.19 so making elytra for it is easy peasy.

Look I can agree that no elytra maps will get more players for sure but the elytra maps did get some attention. And to minimize server resources u can do like 3 maps or so where 1 of them is elytra.

i'm glad you have decided to bring one wing map back for next rotation. I know 1 thing and that is it will bring many active players back. Out of the 200 people on the FFA leaderboard, probably 100 of them played wing maps 24/7 and got most of their kills out these maps because wing maps were fun to play and more simple to kill players. so thanks for bringing it back in like 2-3 months.

well you are totally wrong. I asked so many people and I also know so many people who loved them and quit because they have been gone for 2 years. Even look at the "Agrees" and "Disagrees" only ONE disagree haha. And you cant complain about having one wing map added. Like compare the amount of wing maps to the normal maps. Theres like 7 normal maps and 0 wing maps. It was a matter of time they would be brought back! :)

The main problem remains is that the server selector for FFA sometimes has 2 or even 3 times the same map and that makes other ffa servers have 0 players. So that makes me go like why not keep an elytra map if you have enough resources to open up a server that has 0 players. Better would be that there is only 1 or 2 maps and that it rotates every couple hours.

jup and bedrock is more superior to cubecraft cuz it has more players yet I'm stuck playing with a lot of 120-200ms people cuz bedrock does not have other regions (at least from what i know cuz in FFA i keep getting into maps with laggers and there is no region selector). All while java is dying and they still have multiple region servers open with 0 or barely any players in them. So that makes me be like why remove elytra and other gamemodes while you keep servers online with 0 players in them. Seems like a waste of resources. As a player i would prefer to have unupdated gamemodes rather than no gamemodes at all. Take blockparty for example. Its a game that doesn't need updates yet it stays fun so why remove it (well to save resources but since there are ffa maps with 0 players looks like cubecraft has enough of that). And blockparty was just an example but stuff like assassinations was also fun but got removed. I get it it needs updates but first of all java will always have priority over bedrock cuz bedrock are litterly java servers using geyser (cuz if i remember one of the staff members said cubecraft has their own modified geyser for bedrock). And second of all. Be honest how much effort was it to code the new few updates for FFA? Like the menu that shows your kills you made last fight. Not that long cuz I made aswell for my server. So updates is not a problem also cuz people are happy with minor changes that make the game even more fun.

So this will be because there will be a map per region, and when FFA gets to a specific player count it opens another game per region. So if there's 3 games, there will be more games for each region. You can see the decision values are all the same for maps and regions:
