As you might know cube is known for having a variation of gamemodes where people with a rank can vote for the mode they prefer over others. Although i'm starting to have issues with the variations of modes where you can vote for. I'm curious to what other people have to say about this. In my opinion gamemodes should be balanced before receiving an entire new "mode / version" to vote for.

EXAMPLES

EGGWARS
Double, Triple & hardcore are all pretty unbalanced and make the games 10x worse, if you get more health then it would be logical to buff some items. Even normal isn't enjoyable because everything is expensive + you're dead in a couple hits.. Eggwars would be the best if it was a combination between normal & OP with normal health.

LUCKY ISLANDS
OP mode & Crazy, most of the times i'm dead before i even did something. When someone opens a lucky block you're mostly just dead basically.

BLOCKWARS
Mentioning OP is already enough, this game is more unbalanced than Infection which says a lot. I like the concenpt of it but Blockwars itself is dead, it's unbalanced too in the normal version so why would you make it worse by adding more modes?


Having so much modes makes it harder for cube to refresh all of them once a while which is not possible because it costs a lot of money to do all of that + there are hundreds of bugs out there as well. If the original game would be balanced then there wouldn't be a problem if you add a new mode since you can quickly make changes but this is never the case and it will stay there forever making players frustrated sometimes.


WHY IS IT BAD?

- Players just leave because they don't like the unbalanced modes or leave before the game starts.
- Many bugs or ways to let players abuse in order to win quick.
- It takes way longer to get an update
- It doesn't even add a any sort of value to your rank because most of these modes are not playable.
- I just had many more ideas but i forgot some of them gg wp.

I feel like if you're gonna balance items compared to the health options it's gonna make it way to complicated. I don't think the variation is worth it specially since players will always have their preferences and not use all the other options. I think it's nice to have some variation in health options. If you die to quickly in normal health and normal items you could consider voting for double health.

You're quite exaggerating it's not like every single lucky block you open is an unlucky item/event which could kill you. It comes with the risk you're taking if you don't feel like dying vote for blessed.

I don't play much blockwars but I agree there could be worked on balancing with teams and items/voting options

I agree that Hardcore Items and Triple Health are both pretty useless. Neither ever gets voted for except by trolls or for laughs. That being said Double health has its uses, some people enjoy longer fights and they should be able to vote for this as well. It's perfectly balanced and still completely playable. Also you seem to have forgotten Half Health exists aswell? xD

As @Wauterrr already mentioned you're greatly exaggerating here. Yes sometimes you get unlucky and get killed by the first Lucky Block you open, sometimes you don't. That's kind of the point, it's called Lucky Islands after all. Not every single lucky block is going to kill you right away, and most of the unlucky ones you can get you can survive if you know what you're doing, there's more skill involved than you seem to realise.

I believe OP was added in an attempt to revive it. Although I agree it failed and a lot can and should be done to rebalance it. Simply complaining it's unbalanced without providing constructive criticism however won't help anyone. What kind of rebalancing would you have in mind exactly? How would you like to see it revived?

If 90% of the people say left but they end up going right then it is qutie obvious why it wouldn't work out? I'm just saying so they can prevent it next time.
