How did you get introduced to CubeCraft?

Personally, I got introduced around 5 years ago by my friends when Hypixel was unplayable due to lag. What about you? I'm interested in seeing how other people got introduced to this server.

I was introduced to CubeCraft through another Minecraft server called The Chunk, which merged with CubeCraft in 2016. However, I wasn't super interested in minigame servers at the time, so I didn't end up joining CubeCraft until 2018 when I researched it and found out what had happened to my favourite Chunk minigames.

I used to only play Mineplex until I had a bug that made me unable to join the server.
So I decided to try out CubeCraft since I had nothing else to do, that's how I discovered CubeCraft and ended up loving it, I started playing it even more after Mineplex shut down.

I read some stuff about Online Minecraft Subscription on my Nintendo and the first game I played was Lifeboat, but the people who played Skywars and other PvP games where really bad, so I played Cubecraft Skywars and PvP and finally had a challenge in PvP!

This is quite odd.
I used to love lifeboat survival mode and played on that for hours upon hours on my old tablet. I then got a new switch and for some reason a bug happened which made me lose my account and all it's progress. I was kinda sad but I made a new one, and was like, bro I gotta get back on survival mode. I went to the server list, clicked lifeboat, but It turns out I accidentally clicked cube! I tried it out and realised it was so fun! I guess lb survival is also kinda trash but....

By an Arabi youtuber in that time had like 4 million subs( now he is like 11million subs) he used to play cubecraft in jave like in 2018-2019 so i do som research and get the solution in bedrock and join it just to play egg wars i was abdicated to it especially in 2020

I just found it randomly, I was maining Mineplex, and I wanted to try other servers and I liked lucky blocks and I’ve been playing ever since

Back when I played a lot in 2017-2019 I was joining every server possible to create a server tier list with friends and found cubecraft in all it's glory after a bit

For me, how I got into CubeCraft is an interesting one.

Back in 2017, someone who used to be my friend, was begging me to get Minecraft Java edition (I have tried to get the game since 2015 but I finally got it in 2017). The first server we played was MCOrigins (ExplodingTNT's server), that server had EggWars in it but the items are different. Through research, I found that EggWars originated from CubeCraft Games, so I decided to try it on Java and my goodness, the game was way more difficult there.

However, also in 2017, at E3, Minecraft announced the Better Together update for Xbox. I got the Windows 10 edition earlier that year before I got Java. They showed the four servers in the trailer and I was excited when I saw CubeCraft in there because of the idea of playing EggWars on Xbox (it happened but I mainly played on PC). I joined CubeCraft Bedrock the moment it launched with Minecraft Bedrock v1.2.16.

That is how I got introduced to CubeCraft!

I originally mained Mineplex cake wars in 2021, but after some time the server shut down, I immediately tried some different servers versions of bedwars, cake wars, eggwars, etc. I played Lifeboat bedwars for a while and really enjoyed it, except the number of hackers was INSANE. So after some time I tried eggwars again, (it was too competitive for me when I had no skills :p) and I still disliked it, and around this time I finally discovered Lucky Islands (2023), which I used to play for hours with friends. About a year later I tried eggwars later and actually enjoyed it, and ever sense that's kinda what i've played. (long story...)

Ah, school friends. I played it after school with my friends. That was much more goofy and we were so bad. We had fun camping (ik thats not allowed, I didn't know back then and I didn't look further than /rules for server rules) Now they've kinda quit and I play with other players more. Mwa43 and adarshgamer33 were the first two people that I don't know that I played with, they introduced me into the "sweat"/pro player community more. I got much better then.

The first time I played was a few years ago, because of some friend of mine recommending the server to me. He was really active about playing minecraft and (in my eyes) knew everything about it. He asked me to play with him, so I joined. When I sometimes was bored I remembered about minecraft/cubecraft and played a few games again. One day I ran into the streamer @Salty_Shadows , who sadly isnt playing anymore, which was basically the time I started playing minecraft more often and to stream snipe and stuff. That was basically the time I got into the community. Nowadays I do not play alot anymore, because most of the people I knew already quit.
