How I would rate Eggwars Kits/Strategies

So I recently rated all the Sg kits so now its time for eggwars :D I will also try to give the strategies I use with each kit thoug let it be noted that I am a rusher so I don't go for gear all that often. With that said lets get started :D

Spoiler: Egg Shell

Contains 8 blocks of Diroite.

PvP - 2 (least pvp oriented kit)​

Solo - 4 (not very good for solo)​

Team - 6 (Good for rushing middle/other islands)​

Overall - 2 (Worst kit)​

This kit is pretty terrible and not worth it at all. Can be decent for rushing islands with repeated kit farming but only if you have a geared teammate helping you. The extra length of time it takes to break diorite it so minuscule that sandstone will do nearly the same.​

Spoiler: Egg Armor

full set of leather armor

PvP - 6 (leather armor offers great protection at start)​

Solo - 6 (saves time buying armor)​

Team - 7 ( can gear up entire team in leather quickly)​

Overall - 5 (average kit)​

This kit is mostly a time saver but can be really useful on hardcore where leather armor is very expensive but is useless in Overpowered. With a coordinated team you can be the one who give every1 starting armor.

Spoiler: Rabbit

3 carrots and a jump boost 2 pot (1:30)

PvP - 2 (jump boost makes it hard to pvp)​

Solo - 6 (Good for rushing islands)​

Team - 5 (can give players food and its potion)​

Overall - 6 (decent kit)​

This kit is a rushing kit. I would recommend farming it 3 times so that you have a decent amount of food and enough jump boost to last you a while. It can used to give its potion to teamates or be a dedicated egg breaker among a team with its mobility. This kit is useful in all modes.

Spoiler: Money Bags

10 iron ingots

PvP - 4 (no pvp advantage)​

Solo - 10 (easily get geared and upgrade gens)​

Team - 7 (teammates may steal farmed iron)​

Overall - 9 (A great kit)​

This kit I would reccomend mostly for solo but has uses in team as well. In solo farm this kit 3 times and pick up iron from the gen and you have nearly enough to buy all the gear you need. This kit is meant to quickly get geared and dominate the match.

Spoiler: Buffer

lingering potion of regeneration (20+ secs)

PvP: 6 ( can be used before a fight to get an advantage)​

Solo: 4 (enemies often get regen as well)​

Team: 9 (can buff entire team before a fight)​

Overall: 7 (A good kit)​

I don't often use this kit as Im forever alone in solo :( This kit can be used before fights to get a little regen during a fight. Be cautious of not letting enemies use it as well though.

PvP: 10 (Best kit for pvp)​

Solo: 9 (no teammates in the way of pot throwing)​

Team: 7 (teammates may get caught in pot)​

Overall: 10 (The best kit)​

This is a new favorite of mine :D Trying to break an egg but are being punched? Splash some weakness on the enemy. (Someone going to punch you off a bridge? Splash weakness on them. Someone has better gear or hacks? Splash weakness on them. This kit is worth it just for the weakness while he slowness adds to the value :D I reccomend farming this kit 3-4 times and keeping one of each potion on your hotbar while the rest are in your inventory. I would reccomend a stone axe to start in case you splash yourself with weakness. Pro tip: to throw potions farther jump!

Spoiler: Healer

2 Golden Apples

PvP: 8 (gaps are good for pvp :P)​

Solo: 6 (just what I would r8 it m8 :P)​

Team: 7 (Can give apples to allies)​

Overall: 8 (a great kit)​

Most useful on hardcore. Farm it as much as you want for you and your team. Don't be shy with that gapple spam :P

PvP - 6 (a weapon from the start :D)​

Solo - 8 (good for rushing)​

Team - 6 (no real team benefit could give pick to rabbit)​

Overall - 6 (A good kit)​

This kit is useful when someone is trying to break you egg. You can break the opponents armor and break their walls quickly. This kit is also very good for rushing eggs at the beginning.

On hardcore, gapples cost 15 gold per piece. Each piece of leather is 32 iron (a whopping 2 stacks of iron total). I've played hardcore only once so I can't say much, but theoretically full armor is worth more than the 2 gapples in this case since you can use the generated iron on carrots, wood sword, and blocks. However, assuming you have 8 hearts and no extras, 1 gapple effectively gives you extra HP equal to that from full leather. Effective HP from armor is less in 1.9 thanks to armor penetration.

Throwing pots while jumping in 1.9 decreases your potion accuracy since potions have a higher projectile speed in that version and trajectory is based on the thrower's motion.

Kit farming is considered a bug. Don't know if the devs intended to have players get duplicates from dropping kit items and then falling into the void.

All in all, each kit is situational. Generally, money bags will get you a lot in regular and OP but egg armor and gapples are better in hardcore.

If you like rabbit for rushing, you literally might as well use Egg Shell.

Eggshell is trash, Rabbit is more versatile, same value when rushing other players in my opinion.

Other kits? Egg Armor is not arguably the best in Normal Mode and Overpowered mode. Egg armor is worth 4 iron on normal and basically 0 in OP. All it does is that it saves you 5-10 seconds on getting armor. Maybe provide a trick that you put on a iron chest plate and you look like you have full iron at a glance. But who would choose that over 20 early sandstone, possible crits, WEAKNESS, regen, a free tool/weapon. Egg Armor is useful in Hardcore or MAYBE defending your base from someone more powerful.

TL;DR You should try the other kits, (except for egg shell because that's trash)

Money Bags.

Statistically speaking, you can buy armor and weapons with money bags. Everything you need in to at least battle.

This actually the opposite you get less crits as a rabbit unless you don't have the time down for short jumps. But it is very good for making bridges that no one else can use and towering up quickly :D

Don't want to be hater but you can't just rate Debuffer the bast kit just because it works great for you and that you like it so much. Great post btw, it may help choose what kit to buy, basically a good post for eggwars noobs who don't know what to buy, +1

I personally Love Healer cause i am attached to it, all maps i use it and sometimes for a change i use debuffer and rabbit
debuffer to me is pretty hard to use because you have to aim right
Rabbit is an amazing kit, trust me if i can fuse 2 kits it would be rabbit and healer
but healer is #1 for me because i need decent food and regen at mid, although i don't like buying crapples i usually get arrows so it just gives me free crapples :D

This whole post is about "how I(Power_Ranger) would rate Eggwars kits", not what the rating is for every player. That's why there's the poll on which the community choose their favorite kit.

The egg cracker kit has one major advantage that people seem to not realize: Keeping opponents off your base. I can't comprehend how people don't start playing defense until someone is on their island, that's a horrible strategy. If someone else gets to your island, your defensive efforts are a failure.

Hold it right there, how are all the other kits nothing? I'd say that having a good pick, or 2 gold apples, or 10 iron(which in normal and OP mode buy you much more than leather armor), when you start are all better than egg armor. In normal mode leather armor is meh. In OP unenchanted leather is dogshit. The only way egg armor can be helpful is if you don't protect your island or egg, like at all, and wait until someone is at your egg before you bother to try guarding it.

In my opinion, I think that egg cracker kit is only useful for rushing or defending your rushed base. But I value Money Bags more because it can buy a sword and full leather armour, which is better to defend your base. You just have to be quick enough to buy them all before your egg is broken.
