I personally recommend you to watch YouTube guides about 1.8 and 1.9 pvp by not so famous people, simply because not always more subs means higher quality content right?
Btw avoid watching guides from people which get hackusated with proof from the community, simply because they talk junk most of the time.

Hello! I deeply empathize with your feelings about PvP.

However, I do agree with both of the above posts. FFA can help you develop skills naturally, and through many pretty intense but fun situations, you will eventually learn! Additionally, the toxicity is something you'll have to be ready for. The amount of toxicity I've personally seen in my years of FFA is really much, but surely overtime you will also learn how to deal with it properly.

All in all, PvP is a part of Minecraft and I respect you for seeking out help for developing that skill!
Good luck.

You can always play luckyblock, in luckyblock most players are not pvp tryhards! And youtube video's might always help. And you can always make a party with one other player and practice in duels!
If you don't find anyone, you can always /msg me and I'll tell you if I have time!

This attitude is not beneficial to your target of improving (not to be rude). If you presume everyone will just beat you and don't try to practice, you simply won't be developing! By not giving up and persisting, the fights will help you turn all that nervous energy into motivation to try harder and improve. Yes, PvP does have many good people, but maybe try choosing your battles appropriately? I don't have full understanding of your situation so I can't assume how you play.

Bottom line, a giving up attitude with no will to train will not get you what you need here, if you are able to try enough, I can almost guarantee some good results.

None of the good people started out good, they did the same thing, they had to struggle too at one point. We're all the same, it's only a matter of what attitude you choose!

Again, good luck!

That is all great advice (especially the last piece). I wont be much help because i also kinda suck at PvP, stupid laptop...., but watch YT or play duels, it will help. My main tip would be to just practice, practice makes (almost) perfect right? Good luck on your PvP journey!

Well, here’s how I improved. Massively being abused and beaten up by Stumpay and other good pvpers on Cubecraft. Eventually, that has gotten me better at pvp. And for a pvp coach, well um, I’m kind of not in shape for Minecraft pvp anymore (both versions). I mean, I could teach you some stuff though which could help you. Gotta do it in game though and see how you pvp as of right now, if you are still willing to be taught lol.
