No you cannot join full games, but you will not have cool-down after games.

When you donate for an Iron rank, you get some vanity points, from there you can claim weekly Iron vanity bonuses which is 500 as stated above ^^^ When playing game you gain points and experience not vanity.. You can use these points to buy kits etc...
