Time for the fifth one I guess...
Before anyone says so, I know none of the current maps will work. This will get a brand new set of maps to fit the gamemode.
This mode is a 24 player, semi-solo mode that will be on a completely unique set of maps. The gameplay will vary heavily from normal eggwars, but the default mode will be based upon a newly revamped eggwars.
Basically, the premise of the mode is to work with a constantly changing team to be the only ones left standing. The key thing here is that your team will change every 5 minutes.
Going more in depth, all 24 players will have the option to join either District Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Purple. This will place the 4 players that selected it into 4 islands surrounding a sub-mid. This is your starting alliance. Keep in the mind the map will be massive, and the distance between the ends of red and green sub-mid will be greater than the distance between the back ends of pink and cyan on teaparty. The starting islands will have iron and gold, the sub-mids will have gold and diamonds, and the center island will have some of everything, with emeralds being on one map.
Don't get used to it! After 5 minutes, say goodbye to colored teams and say hello to divisions Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Kappa, Pi, and Omega. In addition, there will be a spy division called "Epsilon". In order to find the number of players per team and divide by 6. Round down to the nearest whole number - remaining players will be placed on Epsilon spies. This pattern continues until below 12 players are left. Then, it's purely manual in shuffling mechanics:
11 left - 4 v 4 (3 spies)
10 Left - 2 v 2 v 2 v 2 v 2 (No spies)
9 Left - 3 v 3 v 3 (No spies)
8 Left - 3 v 3 (2 spies)
7 Left - 3 v 3 (1 spy)
6 Left - 2 v 2 v 2 (No spies)
5 or Fewer Left - Teams Dissolved. Fight Solo until the end
Additional shuffles will commence every 5 minutes. Other than this giant changing mechanic, it will play pretty much the same as in normal eggwars. Quick note on how eggs work: You only need to have on egg alive in the alliance. Even if you yourself lost your island's egg, if you have a teammate's backup you'll be safe.
The spies are a bit more complicated. The spies mantain only one of the three team binding mechanics: You can't break each other's eggs. It's still free for all PvP with them and you will not win if all non-Epsilon players were eliminated. You'll be sent solo if you manage to eliminate the rest of the map.
