That's very true. You will have to wait until the game is full for it to start, making the game harder to play before it's even out, otherwise you'll have unbalanced teams. 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 could solve that, but it might make it too similar to UHC.
If it isn't even, perhaps the team with the most players get a disadvantage.

I know that i would quit if i was down a player. It's fun for the players who are winning the games and out-numbering their enemies, but irritating to the players who are down a few members.

The winner of TDM is the team, this is one player, the undisputed best PvPer there.
But, you said originally team of 16 and there will still probably be teams somehow. Just maybe another name besides "deathmatch" or "Team deathmatch" (I believe) would be better.

The player with the highest k/d goes to team 1, number 2 goes to team 2, and number 3 goes to team one. This continues untill all the players are in a team.
That will be fair and people wont rage quit cuz they think they arent in a good team.

And maybe you like these classes? :)

Standard classes.

Knight class.
-iron sword. (unbreaking)
-iron armor.

Archer class.
-bow. (power I)
-iron sword. (unbreaking)
-leather armor.

Classes, you have to buy with coins/points.
Assassin. (cost 1800 coins)
-iron sword. (sharpness I)
-leather armor.
-potion of swiftness. (speed II)

Mage. (cost 3000 coins)
-wooden sword.
-leather armor.
-potion of strenght. (for 20 seconds)
-potion of swiftness. (for 20 seconds)

Tank. (cost 2500 coins)
-stone sword.
-diamond armor.

No offence, these are poorly constructed kits in my opinion. Stone sword and diamond armour for 2500 points where a wood sword and leather armour is for 1800? :33 sorry

Actually, the price was 3000 points, which makes a wooden sword and leather armour more expensive than full diamond and a stone sword.

Actually, I think it's not TOO overpriced, only if the potions are splash, if they aren't splash potions then it should be (I think) 1000 points

Okay the idea of the post was the k/d system and not the classes. And you didnt look well to the classes. The Wizard is stronger than the tank cuz the wizzard has strength and swiftness. And believe me, strenght is really strong. And also the assassin kit is pretty good for strafe. It has a speed potion so that you can do a quick-attack etc. And it also has sharpness I so that it will be a strong class. Maybe you should look at singleplayer, how strong everything is. Could you also please react to the k/d system.

Oh and this aint 'poorly constructed' :p

Strength for thirty seconds isn't gonna last long... Assassins kit would be okay if it were forever speed.

1. Notice that you get your kit items back every round. So that strenght is pretty helpful. I guess one round takes about 1 minute or anything like that?
2. Okay, assasin gets forever speed. I think it is pretty balanced if you do that.

Achievements

Noob become the first blood.
Fighter get at least 5 kills in 1 game.
Slaughterer get 250 kills.
Serial killer get 500 kills.
Quick-Starter get the first blood.
Last man standing be the last man standing on your team.
Archer get 250 kills with a bow.
Bow expert get at least 5 kills with a bow in 1 game.
Backstabber kill somebody without losing any hearts.
So intense win a 5 (or more) against 1 battle.
Winner win a game.
Loser lose a game.
The bigger they are kill someone who is on the leaderboard.
Pussy leave a game.
Kit specialist get all the kits.
Hard to get run away for at least 2 minutes until you die.
Like a boss get a kill when you have half of your hearts.
