Hello! My name is Ahmet, I'm new to the forums and i just wanted to share my opinion on this topic.
So as you know, NC+ or NoCheatPlus is an Anti-Cheat, the most common one that almost all servers use, now NCP is efficient against cheaters however, it also has false positives, alot false positives. I say NC+ has more false checks/lagbacks than its efficiency against hackers. Especially that the server has old build of NC+ which isn't compatible with 1.9. Here are some false checks i tested myself on my server :-
1)1.9 Hits : NCP thinks a player is using Killaura/Forcefield when they attack a player next to another, because of 1.9 sword ability, you can damage multiple entities, that flags FIGHT_DIRECTION and FIGHT_ANGLE checks falsely.
2)Lagbacks : NCP SurvivalFly Check falsely set backs players when they get hit, because 1.9 reach is kinda increased, not sure if you noticed, but sometimes when i play SG, i hit a player and they knockback then lag back into the block the we're hit, and also happens to me which really pisses me off.
3)Regen : As you know, 1.9 regeneration is faster than older versions, since 1.9 NCP isn't open yet, when i play SG or any other game, i don't even regen, it takes 10 seconds to regenerate half heart, the reason because NCP thinks player is using some kind of Regen hacks which flags FASTHEAL_CHECK, NCP [Player] failed fastheal : tried to regenerate faster than usual.
If any staff have /ncp permission, please go into the game and type /ncp info {player} Any player, you will see a ton of Fastheal checks on the player, not because they're hacking, but because its 1.9 NCP is not compatible with it.
Maybe developers can make a custom anticheat ? Or atleast configure NC+ to be less lagback/false checks against legit players ?
Or use other anticheats form Spigot, that are way better than NCP, maybe not free, but worth it.
If you're interested in a good NCP configuration, i would be happy to share my custom one with you.
