This update has multiple bugs as well as making the server look cheap. Having cube on 1.19 version, will result in a huge decline of players due to many people enjoy using LabyMod which only works well in 1.16.5, without full access to this modification players will just migrate to servers that allow access to LabyMod 1.16.5. CubeCraft was perfectly fine as it was. If it remains like this I want a full refund for my obi rank as I didn't buy it to fund a server of this current standard.
I am one of the LabyMod players that hate to see that opportunity disappear. Much harder for me to adjust to 1.19 when I have been used to playing with LabyMod for the past years. That combined with the excentric texture pack makes for a hard task to adjust and adapt. The motivation is also lacking.

I understand LabyMod 4 for 1.19 not being publicly available yet is disappointing for those who don’t have access to its beta version yet.
However they have announced to be releasing this version to the public in the near future. For now, if you do not have access yet, you can try getting access by asking someone that already does to invite you. (every beta tester can invite 1 other person)
A different possibility would be to buy Laby+ to unlock the beta, however it’s understandable if you don’t want to spend money on that :P

It’s just a matter of time before LabyMod will release publicly for 1.19

This update only shows how out of touch the admins are with the Java community. Here's my personal thoughts on the new features:

Eggwars:
This game was fine as it was. The eggwars community is what Cubecraft thrived on, I don't get why they decided to revamp the whole game, while it was arguably the most balanced and all rounded game on the server. The new shop is super unbalanced. It's possible to get a bow within the first minute of the game, which really makes it impossible for any new players to get into (which I think was the reason for this update in the first place right?).

Skywars:
I personally don't dislike the new map or anything, it's something different. It's not really a competitive map or anything, but that's fine in my opinion. The crossbow feels a bit too OP as it is currently. It's very easy to catch people off-guard while they're bridging for example. It also does a ton of damage against opponents in leather or chainmail, combine this with the ability to preload 2-3 crossbows at once and it can swing a fight in just a second. The most broken new feature is the shield though. The shield was fine as it was, the delay for putting it up was absolutely needed to make it work. Currently you can instantly put your shield up after hitting, making you pretty much unhittable in a fight. You could be up against a much better opponent, if you have a shield and they don't, you have a huge edge in the 1v1.

FFA:
Well, there's the new kit. I like the concept, but it's poorly executed. It's barely got any armour, you can 3 hit it with wizard kit. The trident takes ages to get back after you throw it, and the lack of enchantments makes it useless in melee combat, as it matches the DPS of an unenchanted diamond sword. We had this same problem with the berserker kit when it came out, didn't we learn at all? The new prices for gapples are a bit odd... It doesn't make sense to make them more expensive, they were already pretty niche due to their high price, I doubt we'll see anyone use them at all right now. It's harder to earn points in FFA than in other games, so people prefer not to waste them on consumables. Lastly, the fact that you need iron rank to select a map is disgusting. Switching maps is about as essential as left-clicking in FFA. This change will only result in more stone ranks quitting the game as they can't escape any opponents that they're getting focused by. Bye bye new players trying out the server. The new map is cool, no complaints there, would've liked to see a new elytra map tho, or even the reintroduction of Space or Flowers.

Parkour:
Does anyone play this? Why is it treated better than all the other games?
In conclusion: at the very least revert eggwars to what it was. Give stone ranks the right to change maps in FFA. That's the bare minimum to enjoy the server for me and a lot of people.

I think it is ridiculous to restrict stone players from literally everything. The majority of the players are stone ranked, and if they don't have any rights without spending ungodly amounts of money on the game - what point do they have in playing the game then?

The spyglass is a thing I also reacted to in Lucky Islands, why would they introduce a useless gimmick to the game when everyone already have got that ability (and even better in OptiFine).
Yeah I fully agree.. ranked players have a lot more perks than choosing the map, so if this one perk was given to stone ranked players it would literally make cube better (not so much of course but i hope you understand me).
like instead of giving stone ranked players more opportunities, they take one from them.. and they say "the update attracts new players"...

and yeah it looks like they don't understand what players want, adding very useless items just to make it look more like a 1.19 server

I hate how cubecraft now look why not just let it be like Minecraft. You now need rank to chose map for ffa? What. The new kit is just trashy. Today i saw a guy just flying and killing people. Textures are crashy. Over all im so sad that server i played on for years got so bad so fast. I hate it.

That's so true, on FFA as well diamond axe + shield beats every other kit

Lucky blocks reloads its texture pack every game I go to, for some reason. By the time it loads for me, the match is 30-40 seconds in. I've died before loading in before, and it is a terrible experience. Completely unplayable.

I don't believe that's an issue with the server as it doesn't happen for me or my friends. If you have discord can you make a ticket in 💌team-help ?

yeah i have the same problem, every time i join a game of eggwars it reloads the texture pack and when i leave again
