Hey! We're back with the second part of this thread, If you haven't read it yet, I recommend doing so and then you can continue with this one. In this second part brought by @shamomshka and I, most of them are ideas since in the previous thread was where the changes that we believed were best and necessary were exposed, we could have added more changes but they seemed irrelevant and uninteresting to us. As in the previous thread I have left the best or at least my favorite of all the ideas for last, it is not as complex and elaborate as the glitched lucky blocks but I still think it is a very fun idea.
This ideas and changes are thought from a Java point of view, meaning that some things may not be compatible or necessary in Bedrock.
- The drop of the mob eggs now are not hostile to the one who spawns them, the mobs will atack only other users. + More diversity of eggs .
- Ender Sword, an iron sword with sharpness 1 and themed in purple so people can tell which sword it is, with this sword by right clicking you can teleport 3 blocks of distance in front of where you are aiming with a 20 second delay
- Disabler wand, with this wand the people in a radius of 5x5x4 can't use bows,crossbows,wands etc. Basically you cant use the right click,The radius will be shown like the swapper wand but they will be red particles instead of purple. This wand has a delay of 1 minute, the radius will last 10 seconds, if you exit the radius while the effect is still active you will continue to be affected by the effect for 3 more seconds. The design I had in mind for this wand was a red wand with a barrier block on top.
- Treasure map, if you get it, somewhere on the map spawns a barrel inside of the ground,The loot will be slightly better than what usually appears in the chests where armor always appears + a golden apple always appears 100% of the time.
- Add Cloud Boots, white leather boots with feather falling 4
- The Heart of Destiny, A heart that can save or ruin your game, it carries a great risk but the benefits are worth that risk, as its name says everything is in the hands of fate, special item that give you instantly 5 hearts but removes 2 hearts permanently so instead of having 20hp will fulll hearts you have 16hp but there is a probability(50%) that can kill you instantly.
-Defective potion, Failed product of an alchemist, use at your own risk, potion(no splash) with nausea 1, poison 1, speed 1, hunger 1 and strenght 1 for 15-20 seconds
- Add "Blowguns", when you get the bamboo + sticks + sugarcane drop you got now a low probability of getting a blowgun from bamboos, this blowgun is of 1 use and shot and arrow of poison 1 of 5/10 secs. The custom animation would be like when you shot with a crossbow.
- Luck Stick, a stick blessed by the god of luck, this stick have a random level 7 enchantment
Before introducing and defining the idea I wanted to give a little context of where the inspiration comes from, a few weeks ago I was reading a fantasy manga, in this manga one of the most characteristic monsters are frogs and when entering dungeons there is a very rare probability that a golden frog will appear, The golden frog is basically a winning lottery ticket, and I won't tell you more because you will understand everything once I explain it in detail.
The idea would be that there is a drop where mostly normal frogs appear(in very rare cases, instead of a normal frog, a Golden Frog will appear...) without anything special, except their drops that with a low probability can give you Frog Slime.
The frog slime would be an enchanted slimeball, it would be a projectile like a snowball, when hitting an enemy it will be affected by slowness 1 + it will walk as if it were on top of slime blocks for 5 seconds.
Golden Frogs are a very rare mutation of normal frogs, they have a very low probability of appearing, once they appear they will flee from players since these frogs have a higher intelligence than normal ones and knows that humans covet its golden color a lot, if you kill it some of its possible drops are a totem or a notch. But it is not that simple since apart from fleeing from players they are also immune to all types of projectiles or damage not done by tools like the sword or the axe, meaning you will have to hunt it by cornering the frog or using other clever strategies that might surprise the Golden Frog.
Those of you who have played Super Mario 64 will be very familiar with the idea of the Golden Frog, since in this game you had to catch a golden rabbit that was running away from Mario in order to obtain a star. I suppose the author of the manga was inspired to some extent by this idea.
In the end, these are simply ideas and changes that we would like to see in the game, but we understand that not all ideas will be accepted or that people may not like them. If there is something that you don't understand, does not convince you or that you would make some change, do not hesitate to say so.
If we get to 20 positive reactions , @shamomshka and I might consider making a part 3 or a bonus/extra part(a part where its more free and not too serious, just all the wild ideas we have), but it wouldn't be 100% certain since we've already used most of our best ideas and changes, meaning it would take us some time to be able to gather enough quality ideas to be able to make another thread.
