Please help (Magic and Mayhem Bedrock)

There is a glitch where if you pick up an item then another item goes into that slot, then you close your inventory, the item picked up will disappear. I accidently did this with my frost wand and now I can't get it back. I already tried the backpack and shop. I would ask discord except I can't figure out how to verify and chat. What do I do?
