Exactly. Half, normal, double, and triple are all the health options. xd Let's removeee them allhealth options
I don't really find a problem with the half a heart, its not like 'NO PROJECTILES' in skywars, it's posible to play a game without it beeing half health, anyways there should be a 'DEFAULT SKYWARS' mode. V:Reason for this is due to shorter fights and the fact that bows will be unstoppable when we update (they might need a server-wide nerf to be honest)
If you don't like this, enjoy being 1 shot no matter what in normal and 2 shot in OP unless you have 2+ pieces of diamond armor kthxbye
Half health is the only way op is actually playable. Besides what is so bad about it?Once again nobody that voted no bothers to explain themselves.
In basic/normal, yes.
In OP, no.
Because in op a fight takes longer, so then half health is okay.
And some people like to play with half health.
I think we can't do Hardcore + half health already so removing it would be pointless, I mainly voted no because I like rather quick games (half+normal items), not everyone has 2-3 hours time for one game. (OP+Normal would already take this much time if you're with campers) Either-way, it should stay.
No thank you.
The combination between overpowered items and half health is great. If there is no half health, we need to play with overpowered items and normal health. That could be painfully slow and for me not even enjoyable.
There are many people enjoying shorter fights.
Bows are stoppable with armor, golden apples, notch apples, and skills.
When I play with the 'tryharders', we all vote half health simply because we deal with a lot of campers and a lot of fights (especially in maps like Rome or Mansion)
When I play on my own though, I vote for normal health due to laggers easily critting me down
I wouldn't remove it

Half health is like the best mode for op, since you don't need to actually break someones chain/iron/diamond gear, compared to normal health and it pretty much allows fights to be over and done with in like a couple of minutes , compared to normal ,yet again.
The only good thing about normal hp mode, is that axes and power bows are much less of a threat. (From my personal experience so far though)
What are these changes in 1.13, it can't be any faster than 1.8 that's for sure.I don't think anyone takes the changes in the way how pvp works into account.
Whatever you're saying right now won't be the case in 1.13
That pretty much nullifies all of these replies:
I've explained this a million times before but here I go again. For every hit point of damage on non-diamond armor, 2% of the armor protection is ignored. So for example when a sharp 1 diamond sword hits iron armor instead of protecting 60% it only protects 44%. The power 5 bow is absolutely destructive in 1.13 because of it.What are these changes in 1.13, it can't be any faster than 1.8 that's for sure.
In op mode everybody has prot 4 so how does that apply.I've explained this a million times before but here I go again. It completely eliminates the leather armor, drains the chain armor to 2%, and drains the iron armor to 14%. Diamond holds at 57%, still lower then the BASE for iron. In other words, the power 5 bow is brokenly OP hence why a server wide nerf is likely necessary.
In normal / half iron may or may not survive the one hit kill depending on if the damage goes your way or not. Otherwise, it's a guaranteed one shot without gapples on chain, and a guaranteed one shot on naked people and leathers without notch apples.
For OP mode, it's a guranteed 2 shot on leather, chain, and iron armor with or without gapples or 1 piece of diamond armor without gapples, 3 hits for anything else (4 hits isn't possible even with full prot 4 and a gapple)
So we can either spend 64 diamonds to survive ONE HIT or remove half health because it's no longer needed and will have the opposite problem to no projectiles, it's going to be more like projectiles only.
Also @effot you say faster fights are better so is this better than 1.8?
Anyone who voted no @Lezappen @TheBrownster @_The13thDoctor_ @Andyyy @Shamel @Juskebat @nuubie Read that^^^^^^^^
1.8 stats.arent changing it doesn't matter
The protection I'd applied after the depletion. 64% protection for leather and chain and 69% for iton. Diamond is 84.5%. That's 3 hits for non diamond and 6 hits for diamond on normal health. In op mode everybody has prot 4 so how does that apply.
Also in normal everyone only has power 1
This is on 1.13 people can chug gapples faster than they lose health...The protection I'd applied after the depletion. 64% protection for leather and chain and 69% for iton. Diamond is 84.5%. That's 3 hits for non diamond and 6 hits for diamond on normal health.
An iron sword crit barely does 10 damage so with any armor at all iron swords won't kill. Also prot 4 actually means something btw...Yeah, armour values are decreased in the updates I'm pretty sure, so in half health you could probably 1 hit players with a diamond sword in OP mode, or like an iron sword in normal items mode
