Builds Skywars map by BSharz

Hello everyone,

This is my first skywars map (I have not thought about the name yet). The map has 16 islands for players, and one middle island with 4 smaller islands around it. I am grateful to know your opinion about the map and if you have any idea to implement for improve it. Below I attached a few photos with shaders and without shaders, what do you think about my first map?

Oh wow it's pretty nice! But it's a bit simple and there's not much room to PvP.

It's a good start, but there's still a lot of work to do;

First of all, you used the //replace command to replace the islands by coal blocks and obsidian. Try to add the blocks in groups instead of randomly putting them in the islands.
The current block palette looks quite dark, maybe you could try to use a different block to light the map up a bit. The map isn't very detailed, try to work on it! Add some cool shapes to make the map look better.
Therer isn't that much pvp space, like @Marieke2001 already said, make the island surface a bit bigger, so it's nicer and easier to pvp on.

Anyway I think this is a good beginning, but you should just try to work on the details now.

Hey @Marieke2001 and @HuracanFTW, thank you for your suggestions!

I updated the map and these are the changes I made thinking in your suggestions:
· Islands surface bigger to make nicer and easier to pvp on.
· Improved the islands by changing the //replaced obsidian with hand-placed obsidian on all islands.
· Added the iron bars to make the surface of the islands more visible.
· Now there are 12 islands for players instead of 16 because the islands are bigger and it stays better aesthetically.
· Added 4 islands with the lampposts to speed up the fight process and it helps to conquer the center.
· Some small changes more as the basement and the lamppost added to the islands of the players, the fire, the way of the center...

Looks better already, although I'd say you've to pull those suggestions more through into the map. This isn't enough!

It doesn't look bad. but the Island are soo black. and what @HuracanFTW already said, it's too much //replace. Also try and use more details in your islands. But I like your layout with that extra Island between mid and spawn-island.

I like the idea but like others have already said, it would be nice if you put more detail and pvp areas there but my main concern is the colour. I feel like your map is way to dark and needs more colour such as nether rack and Quartz to balance the colour.

I think the same thing that @HuracanFTW... and the truth is that the map sees very dark as @MaxvD said. Probably you might raise a few photos without shaders, to be able to estimate a bit more the details.... Thanks and Good Luck!! :P Miau Miau!!

It's a nice map but it wouldn't be one of my favourites to play on. It's a bit too dark in my opinion.
