Sure, Cube has Skywars and Survival Games, however these games are very different from the Skywars & SG found on other servers.

It's not as if Cube literally took another servers game and published it as a complete copy.
And what do you suppose they do about the friends or party system?
That's one of those things that all minigame servers should have.
If you want to play this game that badly, play it on the other server since it's the same game.

What I suggested, is on what, one server? Where we could change so much as no one else has done it before.

Yet you haven't even suggested any viable game-changing features yourself.
Of course people are going to dislike it due to it being a complete copy.

Other then voting, what makes it SG and SW different from other servers? What makes it original?

Players would start on islands high in the sky, with mid being in levels that they would need to fly too

On that other server you just start flying, not actual starting island. With about 3 rings as mid.

I have never played on that server, but I think "add elytras and rockets to fly to other oslands" is such a simple idea that it's not copying a server but just doing the same thing. Take the party system, nobody would want to "put a twist on it", it should be easy and useable. Just because other servers do the obvious thing and don't overcomplicate it doesn't mean cubecraft has to. Would you complain if another server added enderpearls because they are in op chests on cube?

I don't actually want a third category and I probably wouldn't play this much. But I don't think the fact that another server has elytras and rockets should keep cubecraft from utilizing them.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be able to recreate the Cube Skywars or Survival games feeling, let alone find it on another server.

As you know, M*****ex already has this game almost exactly like Anon had suggested this, and most would start calling Cube out for completely copying the other server. The thing that annoys me is the lack of originality put into what he had suggested, without even trying to give it a twist or something to make it more fun. This perfectly describes what I'm seeing:

Aside from that, why shouldn't we mention that this is a copy? Usually I'd ignore it if it were at least just a tad different from other servers, but this is almost an exact replica other than the possibility for rocket boosting and 1.9 pvp.
All that's been changed is the PVP and the possibility of rocket use for smoother flight.
I feel that the lack of effort put into this suggestion completely justifies the "originality card".

I think the suggestion is so simple that you wouldn't have to have seen it on another server to come up with it.

At this point I'm just suggesting the game. Changes can be made later.

Because they could be voting no for a reason that is explained later in the thread, and if they don't reply/read farther I won't know why they voted no so it's invalid.
