So applying for staff is a great thing, yet your application might be denied without your knowledge.
Some people would like to know if they were denied or not, for they might think that their application wasn't posted or wasn't viewed at all and will make a newer one.
For me, I would like to know details about the application, weither its denied or not.
Details Shouldn't Include:
What was wrong with the application (People might just have one big problem in the application, or a small one, and thats what caused it to be denied. So the staff shouldn't say what was wrong, for if they did, the ones who applied will know what was wrong and wont have the chance to experience what they did wrong, knowing it would make the ones who applied lose experience instead of gaining)
Some people, including me, want to know if they have been denied, instead of waiting one month, they can check their problems, correct them, and re-apply after a long time when everything seems better and fixed!
I would really like to know if this idea is a good one! So don't be shy and reply with all of your thoughts!
Thank you for the people who took their time into reading this and understand what I mean.

If they got mad, then it means that they are immature and shows a sign of having no experience whatsoever of being a staff member!
That's why then need mature people to apply for staff!
You get what I mean, :D

I don't think you know how many applications they get each day. If they have to tell every single person what was "wrong" with their application,.... well cya next year. It just takes too much time :)

I know it does, However they can have a list of people they have to message after they are done reading their applications.
They can just say "Your application has been denied! Try better next time :)"
They don't have to say what's wrong!
Thanks for replying! :)

Hmm I have to agree that this would be nice. I am unsure if this will happen though.

People are curious about staff accepting their application, so it is better to receive a message about their application, whether its accepted or denied.

The last messages and how you acting makes me think you're mad about becoming a staff member. Anyways, this has been suggested before, and @Mac told as a trick, if you're not in the next "wave" of promotions, then is because you're declined

The only thing I would like them to note somewhere is what date they are reviewing. For example, if I apply on the 21st of August and they are reviewing applies from 1st of July, I kinda have an idea if I'm accepted or not.

If you haven't heard about your application then it's most likely denied.
You would have to think about where you went wrong. I think it would be nice if we could have a copy of our staff application to we can read through and think about where we may have gone wrong.

They can get hundreds of application a day and that may be an understatement. I think its more logical if they had a closing application date set then thanked those who did not get it instead of messaging every single player. I mean after all, you should let your work do the talking instead of talking about your work.

Simple as that, if you get a message from a staff member about the helper interview, you have a high chance of being accepted. See I wrote "high chance" because it's not a hundred percentage that the player going for the interview would get the part.
Just be patient, good things come to those who wait. (you have to be good too though cause karama)

@zRinne Thanks for replying! I was suggesting a more detailed way, and I think the next "wave" of promotions is today or so, I was suggesting that if they had time to read the applications, then they might have time to reply, because some people (not me) would like to know the minute they apply, It's easy to be patient, I can do that, I just wanted this suggestion for others.
Thanks for your help!

With the current google docs system, it would mean finding and starting a conversation with every single person that applies, then a lot of them will reply, some angrily, and it's a lot of effort to go through for something that can just be assumed by others

I can get your point.
Being a staff on this server is a lot of work.
I just wanted to make sure if they have any time in doing this.
Thank you for replying!

Hey!

The thing is, is that a lot of people apply and some of them want to know if their application is received and / or something like that. Some companies send automated messages for candidates saying that "Thanks for applying, your application is now received" and it's polite.

Of course, Cubecraft gets a lot of applications every day and it's very hard to answer everyone personally, but an automated message on the forums or somewhere could be a good idea. It's polite.
