To keep it short, Staff uses only 1 map along with an OP team to ensure a rush victory. Having a team is allowed but using a pre-determined map as part of a strategy to ensure victory is not since before the actual game start everything is supposed to be fair.

- Staff using OP team to nonstop win against a non-organized noob team.

- Staff team making sure to only play on 1 type of map, ensuring their victory, which by definition is cheating. A pre-determined map should not in any way be part of a 'winning strategy'.

IF they in fact are just in a team to play together they would play other maps as well. But this is obviously for the rush-win. This abusive staff participating in this kind of behavior makes it even worse.)


This second rule was also passed after donators kept voting certain maps on towerdefence to ensure a rush victory there, months ago. I trust it will be ruled the same in this case.

- Since obviously there is a full intent to unbalance the game before it even starts these people should be brought to justice and the mod in question should be stripped from power. Mods especially are suppose to help people and balance the game to ensure a fair gameplay. Not to unbalance it, which is the obvious case here.

What do you mean by this? Like, changing the map layout before the game starts? If so, gonna vote no on this one. Some teams would have a advantage over other teams in some cases. Besides, it isn't going to stop rushers, since you've still got ender pearls etc.

Wrong, like I said before. If it was JUST FOR FRIENDS they would use other maps as well. They use the map as part of their strategy and that, Sir, is NOT ALLOWED. It's a stratic advantage they should not have.

Rushing was always a pvp tactic. You would wanna gain a slight headway over your opponents before they manage to get better gear than you.
Also, would you rather have a long game over a short, quick game due to rushing not being allowed or even prevented?

If you're going to continue this discussing you should address the fact that they only play this particular map. Why is that if it has no strategic advantage for them?

Of bleeping course they have a strategic advantage if they decide to play as efficient as possible. That's the game. I play a lot better on certain maps in Eggwars as well, because some maps allow me to take 2 neighboring island without having to sit on any gens for enough iron.

Every group of players can play like they do. And sure enough there are many of them. Now, when you catch some staff members actually abusing their ranks that is something entirely different, but that is NOT the case here. Cubecraft is filled with noobs, yes, it's a very child friendly server. So if you are decent at Minecraft you already will be winning a lot on this server. Getting a group of good players is basically a certain win. I get that it can be annoying for you, but it's not staff cheating.

That is the one thing I can agree with. Not sure if it is also the case here, but there are certain teams on Eggwars solo and team that have an advantage when it comes to the island location or the way the island is build. It's always pretty small, but no one can deny that.

Any ranked user not only moderators are able to choose the map they wish to play. If players can do it, then it is allowed. Also, even the cubecraft store website explains the ability to choose maps. It’s a perk that does give some advantage to players who are better at certain maps. But, it’s something non-ranked players need to get used to, remember Cubecraft needs money to exist.

So you're saying only donars are able to choose a map to their advantage? Because that would be in violation with the Eula rules. Donars are not allowed to have any form of game play related advantages. Cosmetics only.

If you hate losing so much, get friends that are good at the game, and work with them to win. Just because a dude's better than you doesn't make it cheating.

Lmfao, that doesn't even give an advantage. If anything, it's PREFERENCE. A dude mastering a map doesn't mean it's an illegal advantage.

It also isn’t true that this staff guy is the only one that is doing this strategy to win. I joined him and we had lots of fights against other prepared teams, and yes, we did sometimes lose the game.

To be honest, this map is pretty neat but the way people use it is disgusting to say the least.

I myself am - nowadays - highly against these tryhard parties consisting out of enough player to basically fill up a whole team
I did join them for a couple of games but it just got bored for me, because playing that many games of the same gamemode, and especially always playing the same map just can't keep being fun: playing isn't fun anymore, but the satisfaction of winning and easily taking on enemies is

I have also gotten a few hundreds wins by joining NLodjo and his 'squad' though now it does really disgusts me when people do that kind of thing

Also, a quick tip for you, though I don't think it'll work against the players you're addressing: most players are very good in a team, but if torn apart, are worthless

But, what is wrong with it?
If they like the map they got the rights to play it as much as they want.
It's like if someone didn't let you play your favorite map because it's a "rush" map.

Like Snowley said, they don't enjoy playing, they only enjoy winning.
I recommend you to play solo games to actually have a chance when playing alone.

I'm not just talking about the staff guy but the entire team and potentially everyone who's doing this. When donars non-stop voted for the same maps on Tower Defense (about a year ago?) it was ruled that it was a way of cheating. Because of this the map and mobs chanced.

Now the same happens on Lucky Island. By Staff, which makes it even worse. Staff should know better than intentionally making teams unfair and voting for their advantages before the game actually starts.

I hope you don't mean to say that ranks have advatage over non-ranks just because of the ranks? Because that would be one of my main points and guess what... in direct violation of the minecraft Eula rules.
