Hi,
When joining a party, you sometimes have to wait for your friends cuz they're still in-game. This waiting can be boring when your friends are in games such as BZ, BlockWars, EggWars, etc.
Suggestion: when joining a party, you'll be able to:
Spectate your friends
or
Join a waiting lobby with parkours
or
Join Parkour


...so you won't get bored.

This would heavily increase ghosting which is indeed not bannable but is very quite annoying
You can already play parkour in the lobby you got warped to when joining their party ;)

"Heavily"? No. This happens only sometimes and you just have to wait one game, so no, it won't heavily increase ghosting

It will increase ghosting for that game you are spectating, so yes it'll be very easy for you or for your friends to ghost

I'm talking about Parkour - levels
Lobby parkours become boring after doing them 1000 times
If you could play parkour levels it wouldn't be that boring

Ghosting is already annoying as it is. I rather not make it more convenient for players to do so.

Why not be AFK in a lobby for a few minutes and watch some YouTube or something? It isn't that difficult.

+1 other servers allow you to join underway games as a spectator so it'll be nice to see Cube do the same through parties. As for the ghosting issue others bought up, a rule change should do it.

if a spectator blocks an arrow, they'll get warned. If they do it three times in the same game they'll get kicked (ppl who watched BajanCanadian's SG series when he did it wil know an example of this) and if a player still in the game is caught getting friends to ghost, giving an advantage, that'll be bannable.

Spectators can't really block arrows.
And for the rule itself: It's nearly impossible to be sure if someone's ghosting. (from a 3rd party POV)

To be honest ghosting doesn’t every affect the game much. If only it makes camping not viable which is great.
But I don’t think you should be able to spectate in Block Wars because sometimes you are trying to hide to take a flag or damage a core and the spectators could easily give a hint to the other team.

As for the thread:
I like the idea of becoming a spectator. But I get why people wouldnt wsnt this. They just need to add something that you can do while waiting for your friends game to end.

I don't agree with being able to spectate your friends. Like other users said: This would cause ghosting. (We wouldn't be able to trap! Oh no!). For being able to join a waiting lobby: No. You'd occupy a place in the waiting lobby while you can't even join a game, since you are in a party and if we'd be able to join a game the problem you mentioned would repeat itself.
For being able to join parkour: A big yes from me! But we should not be able to join a game of competitive parkour imo.
The reason why I voted no is because I don't agree with 2 of your 3 suggestions.

btw I hate when I get teleported to a lobby when joining a party, spectating would be a really good feature.

I just think you should be able to still play games or change lobbies even though you're in a party, if the party members finish their game you'll get a message asking if you can be teleported to them or not. Easy as that

lol why would you join a party just to help your friends?
I usually join parties to play with them....

And as I said, you'll be able to spectate them during one game

If your problem is 'ghosting', we should be able to spectate friends atleast in Arcade/MinerWare/etc, where ghosting isn't a problem

I also thought that but it'd be annoying to have to leave when you're in-game. Being able to join Parkour would be nice tho
