Java SUMMER PUSH FOR JAVA!

It's time to add back another team game to Java! Over the last few weeks we've seen a nice increase in player count on the Java network, likely signaling the summer season has come and people have more time to play games. Cubecraft need to jump on the opportunity to add back another team game to Java for the summertime as soon as possible!

What options do they have? The only options they really have are Team Skywars and Team Lucky Islands, as they are updated to 1.19 due to Bedrock. Vote above which you would rather! Vote also if you would like to see Minerware added alongside a new team game as a real push for the Cubecraft Java server (if it doesn't work, just remove it, right?)

Team game modes are way better than solo game modes as team game modes allow a community to develop around them. People love playing with friends, getting into calls, and having fun together. This just isn't as common on solo games.

I really think this could be the final push for Java to become more alive again over the summer season

Lucky Islands is the only option here cause skywars is more competitive so its less new player friendly

Interesting fact: on java will not need to port the game, because the analog already exists on bedrock. Because both networks work on a common code base and it will be much easier to server developers than to make a port.

I totally agree, they gotta use this summer influx of new players to open up some more games! I am just a little concerned about the fact that BedWars should be coming to Java in the near future, they've updated the Notion cards with a preview and all...

I don't know if the current player increase would be sufficient to support 2 extra games, so I'd say that if BedWars is going to come out in the summer, I would not bring any of the games you suggested back, a 100 player increase or so is not enough to justify two new games.​

Honestly, I think at this stage there's been no major interest by players on Java for Cubecrafts Bedwars. It could just not be added really.
There is a huge possibility of it killing Eggwars, and, it's likely it's just going to be a game full of parties all day everyday because it would be a new leaderboard. Bedwars is on every Java server, Cubecraft just doesn't need Bedwars. It is not the right thing to revive the server, and even if it does, it's probably not going to be playable by people who just want to have fun.

On the other hand, returning an old team game has been on the Java community's mind since September 2022, this is what they want to see.
