Winter Has Arrived!​

Welcome to December, dear readers! Winter has finally arrived and with it, the biggest CubeCraft seasonal update ever, and there's nothing better to celebrate it than with a new edition of TCCT! We promise this week's edition is really interesting, so let's get into it!

New Game - Colony Control!​

This week a new game mode came out: Colony Control!
Colony Control is a 3v3v3v3 PvP and strategy game mode. The goal of the game is to destroy the other team's Town Hall and then to kill them. You can't respawn anymore as soon as your Town Hall gets destroyed. At the start of the game, you get 10 minutes to collect Gold and build/upgrade buildings. You can build an Armoury to get the armour, a Blacksmith to get the weapons, and a Food Shop to get the food you need. To buy all of this you will need Gold and Food. You can collect Gold by mining it in the Mines and you can collect Food by harvesting wheat. After these 10 minutes, you can attack your opponents and win the game!

Major Update of Colony Control​

The game has received an amazing update on 4 December. A few changes have been made in order to improve the balance between defensive and offensive players. Walls can be placed diagonally now and connect to the cliffside as well. The price has been decreased to 15 gold per post. Archer Towers are now shooting faster and connect to walls. A new feature has been added: Gates! Gates have a delay in opening and closing, they can be bought in the Construction Site. Another new building has been implemented: Spiders Nest! They will start spawning Spiders if players get too close and attack them!

CubeCraft has been improved a lot this year! There have been a lot of high-quality updates, suggestions and creations made. Xmas Summary! - by The CubeMas Times​

December's back, could we get a 'hype' in the chat? As you may know, December means Christmas and... Christmas means hype!

With Christmas season comes the most exciting thing of the whole year! Minigames.
But first, let's see what other years' games were:

Present Rush:​

Every player has a Present Factory, they should run around on a snow platform that is slowly falling apart. They should collect Coal and Wood and deposit it at their factories. With resources, the factories start generating presents. The idea is to get the most resources possible and to keep your factory running at all times so you are the player who produces the most gifts.

Snowman Survival: ​

One player in the game is randomly selected to be the Snowman. The Snowman should chase humans and shoot them with their snowball to convert them into Snowmen. All kinds of powerups are scattered across the map, (the floating gift boxes we saw in the Twitter tease). Humans win if the counter ends and at least 1 human is still alive. The Snowman wins if everyone is turned into Snowmen.

Now, also in this spoiler, we can see this is clearly the Bedrock version of the game with a Snowman NPC standing by an ice nether portal.

And, of course, we have seen the new winter lobby for CubeCraft!
