Hmm OK it does seem good. Yet I'm still voting for
@CrystalLegend01 and here's why.
For obi you'd need the rare obi from the sky drop, and then have a diamond pick if you cant get 8 straight away.
Ender pearl could be easy but...its lucky
Blaze rod either the rare sorcerers stick or killing a blaze.
A lotta things.
Lodestone.
Netherite which, tbf, is hard.
And stone bricks which you can just mine out of the map.
Yeah, the ender chest took a crazy amount of attempts. I’m so glad you mentioned that because I thought about explaining the difficulty of this challenge but I didn’t want it to come off the wrong way
The falling obsidian drop typically only drops about 4-7 obsidian max, meaning that I needed more to reach 8
During the challenge I also attempted to make an enchantment table since it had an elaborate crafting recipe and only used 4 obsidian, but I realized that some maps (at least one, I’m not sure how many) come with enchantment tables, meaning that it wouldn’t be as rare as I thought. An ender chest on the other hand is something that would pretty much never be seen in Lucky Islands
Each round I tried to actively seek out obsidian from the falling obsidian drop, looking to see if any were collectible in item form. Occasionally I tried mining the obsidian blocks with a pickaxe to get some, but that requires a diamond pickaxe and it takes a little while to mine each block. Since the obsidian drop never seems to give 8 obsidian items, I often had to look for a second instance of the falling obsidian drop, sometimes on another team’s island, and then I would look around for collectible obsidian from that one, which isn’t always likely because someone else could’ve taken some or all of them already.
Sometimes even if I had the obsidian, I still lacked the other items (whether it be for an ender chest or enchantment table). Or it was the other way around and I had one or two of the other items but lacked the obsidian needed. I think that was another reason I also tried to get an enchantment table as well, since if I don’t have the materials for one I might manage to get the materials for the other
For the blaze powder I hoped to kill a blaze for its blaze rod, and the ender pearls require the ender pearls drop which might be more common in diamond lucky blocks.
My best bet for these items was often looking through gravestones, where there are often a lot of items. Getting one of these drops is common, but a collision of having all three is harder, especially when it comes to getting 8 obsidian
Meanwhile the round is progressing in the background so there’s sort of a time frame to get these items. There was one round where I got the items for the ender chest, but the round ended right before I could fully craft it/place it down!
Overall I really enjoyed this challenge, it was fun and challenging, I could honestly do a challenge like that again (maybe in a party sometime?)
