Why do so many people spam click in Colony Control? (1.9 Java)

To anyone who spam clicks on 1.9, there is literally an attack indicator in the middle of your screen, it's not like you can't see it. And if you disabled the attack indicator, I don't know why, but enjoy taking forever to kill someone!

I think in Colony control it's basically because of the pets the just want to punch them away xD
I sometimes come also across those people. But it's just kinda funny to see.

1.8 is easier. I think of 1.9 as 1.8 but time the hit cooldown (not the sword cool down)
