Why is 'TheChunk' getting hate?

So today, after my stream, I was just chilling at some lobbies to chat with some people. In some lobbies, there were huge discussions talking about how 'Chunk' is going to ruin Cubecraft.

Seriously?

They said that Cube got already ruined because of this merge. So I decided to ask some people why, and they said that nothing good will come out of it. How can some people hate so much on Chunk when their goal is to make Cubecraft an even better Minecraft server? Some people aren't even giving The Chunk a chance...

For all the people reading this: Stop the random hate to The Chunk. They are trying their ultimate best together with Cube to make the server even more amazing! Give them time! Don't give false conclusions just because of a huge update. Remember Cube 2.0 update where everybody said rip Cubecraft? Look at Cube now! The staffmembers know what they are doing! Respect The Chunk and Cube and they will give you guys amazing content! :) That's all

The Chunk is an amazing community. I know having 2 amazing years spent on it. You shouldn't hate on The Chunk. Think of this: if The Chunk was as big as CubeCraft, and CubeCraft as small(er) as The Chunk, and someone made a rant about how CubeCraft is going to ruin The Chunk, and you loved that community and games and staff as much as I - and many other players do - wouldn't you feel like you've been disrespected a bit? After all the hard work that server had done to give the Minecraft community some fun to do and games to play and friends to meet, wouldn't it be a bit selfish to say - and not even with all the games fully out yet - "Our server has just been ruined"? Yes. Because we have amazing, original games to share with you. But that anti-Chunk/Merge/Ruining CC thing hasn't even seen what we are capable of. What we're like. What we have to offer. What we know and the history of our server and games. So to that strand of people who are disrespecting the merge, I say this: Think of the positives and not the negatives, especially when they've not even happened yet.

Only thing I'm concerned about is everyone from The Chunk getting called a hacker. The Chunk has a very good pvp group and I've pvped on Cube. RIP all our pvpers

True, being a chunk player, I must say that my friends there are very strong PvPers and have helped me improve by miles. Just waiting for the US server to come up so the lag won't be holding us back :P

I also see a lot of hate towards the chunk community but most people from the chunk community also gives a lot of hate towards CubeCraft(I did too for a while). And yea a lot of people on the chunk are amazing at PvP, but they know to ignore being called a hacker, I hope. I just feel like everyone who is complaining should realize that this is a huge step for The Chunk and CubeCraft. I was extremely upset when I found out these two amazing servers were merging but I realized, as a chunkie, that this will be good for the server. I may not like every decision and every change that happens to the chunk. Yes, I'll put my opinion out there, but I will support the chunk no matter what. And now that I'm part of CubeCraft, I'll support them as well. And @Sideblazer you're getting there c;.
