Cube does update games, Cube does search for new staff members, Cube does try to find solutions to some minir problems, Cube tries to listen to the communty. The only problem is the lack of new refreshing games. That’s it. Apart from that, Cube can’t do ANYTHING about the players leaving.

No, let’s not talk about Hypixel. It’s a complete different server.
Why did 70% of the players start playing less / stopped playing? Because of new games. The other 30% might be leaving because of the community and because they lost interest in Minecraft, but as stated above, Cube can’t do anything about it.

The players hating on wannabes, go spread your negativity elsewhere.

Bc most of the updates don't include what the community wanted (even if they do like what's in it)

You want to know why people leave Cube? I can't speak for everyone but I can give some reasons for why I decided to leave and why other people might be leaving.
Other people:
- Growing toxicity and general unpleasantness in the community. Every time you go on the server there will just be people being irritating and a bit unpleasant. This is more obvious in some communities, such as FFA, which is well known for how horrible it is. People see this behaviour and they just dont want to play.
- Decreasing interest in Minecraft. Minecraft isn't as trendy anymore. Its an undebatable fact that less people play Minecraft as a whole than they used to. People are leaving for more mainstream and popular games, such as Fortnite. This is not Cube's fault its how the world works. Things become popular and then they die. Think about other things that used to be popular and trendy, lots of them have had a large drop in popularity as well.
- Real life getting in the way. Surprisingly or not people have lives. As the server gets older, people do too. People are focusing more on education and work than they used to. This isnt Cube's either fault it's just something that happens.

Me:
- Annoying community. People will just not stop complaining and sort out their problems properly. It's just irritating to go on the forums and see people bickering about why people leave and just having a go at the server. If you actually want things to be sorted then grow up and have a civilised conversation about it rather than attacking people instantly.
- Horrible people. Every day I would get the most horrible things said to and about me. Its not the fact that people have differing opinions. If you have different opinions then thats fine, but if you go around saying stuff like whats been said to me then I dont want to be here. (Example. https://imgur.com/a/zIOPDQs). At the end of the day this is the sort of stuff that makes me want to end my own life, and if there's a way to avoid it then I'll take it.

Reasons that are invalid:
- Lack of updates. Cube does update games. In the past 3 months there has been 10 updates. Sure, people might not like them, but it's not Cube's fault that you cant sit down and just have a civilised talk. They dont want to do what you want them to do if you just go around being rude about it constantly rather than a civilised talk.
- Lack of listening to the community. Ive already addressed this but they dont want to help ungrateful annoying people who just go around insulting them and being rude. If you want them to listen to you then grow up and sort it out properly. If you do that then they will normally listen and take it into account.

Overall, just grow up and if you have a problem sort it out in a proper civilised way. Constantly ranting about how bad the server is wont help you or anyone else.

The main reason is that most of the people stopped playing MC and they are busy with other games .

Less than 2,000 players? CubeCraft reaches 4,000 players almost everyday, which is still a lot.
All these people saying "CubeCraft only has 2k players!1!!1!"... First of all, last time I was on CubeCraft, which was yesterday, I noticed that CubeCraft got up to 3.5k players and second, this is only the Java network. You seem to have forgotten that there is a Bedrock network which can get more than 4k players at the same time. This adds up to 7.5k players and this wasn't even at peak time. My estimate is that CubeCraft has reached a total of 8k players several times without anyone even realizing.

With all due respect, you guys are gathering a player count from the Bedrock edition aswell when the current figures are compared to 2-years-ago figures. At this time, there was no bedrock edition.

I think the creator of this thread is emphasising how the JAVA edition ALONE got up to 30, 000. So 2k - 4k from 30k is an absolutely HUGE drop.
The bedrock edition is new and shouldn't really be used as a figure to compare along side the previous 30k as it a completely different edition.

Also, maybe 30% leaves to go on vacation, school is coming also.

I really don't think this is an excuse.
When there's holidays, people come up with the excuse of "oh, so many people are away, that's why there is a huge drop"
When there's school, people come up with the excuse of "oh, so many people are busy with school, that's why there's a huge drop"
Personally, to me, that's just a two-faced argument which is just contradicting itself.

Sentinel is not a bad anti-cheat, the Developers work hard for the server and they just need to improve him.

Sentinel's been in the works for 1-2 years now (it was in the works for a while even before it was released to public). There cannot constantly be the excuse of "it needs time to improve" when loads of time has passed by to improve it.
I'm sure though that It can be improved for the future and I'm sure the developers are doing the best they can to help squash false positives.

"No updates"? They make updates, but updates take a lot of time and ask a lot of work. It also costs quite a lot.

I wouldn't really say no updates are being made. I do think Cubecraft should prioritise updates and vary them a little bit.
There was a period of time where Cubecraft pumped out 6 updates (nearly) in a row for a rip off of another game.

In my opinion, Cube should stick to the basic Minecraft mechanics. People buy the game 'Minecraft' for Minecraft gameplay, not fortnite. All of the generic Minecraft gamemodes are usually popular, such as Bedwars, Eggwars, Skywars, Survival Games, PvP. These games don't really include anything non-minecrafty in it's the Minecraft game play and that's what makes them enjoyable.

Adding guns and texture packs completely devalues the reason as to why a player bought Minecraft. After all, if they were searching for a Fortnite player experience, they would download Fortnite.

From experience, rip off games such as these are simply ones which die. For example, Blockband.

Anyways, that's just my opinion. I don't really think there are a lack of updates. Just a lack of *quality* updates.

I wonder why you're being like "CubeCraft is the best server and the Staff Team is great!" while you're making this kind of threads.

The thread says nothing bad about Cubecraft. He's just trying to get a poll of why people leave.
He's literally just asking a question.

Its constantly being updated but updates don't get announced so client devs don't find out so easily.

I can give some reasons for why I decided to leave
But you clearly didn't leave because your here, making a post that most likely no one cares about. Some of the things you said are true but you don't have to point it out to people, because it's quite noticable how crap cubecraft and it's community has become/

My opinion:
I think that Cube is not executing stuff as it should.

- I disagree with Sentinel enthusiasts, because I still see cheaters in games.
- Cube is understaffed, therefore lots of problems like getting updates is way more difficult, and everyone are on a budget. (I think)
- Games are not as competitive as they can eventually be.

- Games can easily be improved thanks to extra items, blocks, mobs, weapons, and all kinds of other stuff.
- In-Game abilities, and kits should be reworked.
- Maps are not very PvP oriented.

- Even though it's very proud to be classified as a 1.9+ server, it still gives support to 1.8.
(I heavily disagree that Cube should put effort to anything related to 1.8)
- Ranks are overpriced, and as a veteran, I don't feel they really have anything good to offer.

- Gamemodes can be improved.
- Lots of terrible games get added, even though no one asked for them.
- Lots of community-suggestions get ignored.

- There isn't any reward for veterans players, with extremely high levels.
- Holiday updates are kind of boring.
- Cube's humor is not that good.

And uh. Yeah.
