With all due respect, you guys are gathering a player count from the Bedrock edition aswell when the current figures are compared to 2-years-ago figures. At this time, there was no bedrock edition.
I think the creator of this thread is emphasising how the
JAVA edition
ALONE got up to 30, 000. So 2k - 4k from 30k is an absolutely HUGE drop.
The bedrock edition is new and shouldn't really be used as a figure to compare along side the previous 30k as it a completely different edition.
I really don't think this is an excuse.
When there's holidays, people come up with the excuse of "oh, so many people are away, that's why there is a huge drop"
When there's school, people come up with the excuse of "oh, so many people are busy with school, that's why there's a huge drop"
Personally, to me, that's just a two-faced argument which is just contradicting itself.
Sentinel's been in the works for 1-2 years now (it was in the works for a while even before it was released to public). There cannot constantly be the excuse of "it needs time to improve" when loads of time has passed by to improve it.
I'm sure though that It can be improved for the future and I'm sure the developers are doing the best they can to help squash false positives.
I wouldn't really say no updates are being made. I do think Cubecraft should prioritise updates and vary them a little bit.
There was a period of time where Cubecraft pumped out 6 updates (nearly) in a row for a rip off of another game.

In my opinion, Cube should stick to the basic Minecraft mechanics. People buy the game 'Minecraft' for Minecraft gameplay, not fortnite. All of the generic Minecraft gamemodes are usually popular, such as Bedwars, Eggwars, Skywars, Survival Games, PvP. These games don't really include anything non-minecrafty in it's the Minecraft game play and that's what makes them enjoyable.
Adding guns and texture packs completely devalues the reason as to why a player bought Minecraft. After all, if they were searching for a Fortnite player experience, they would download Fortnite.
From experience, rip off games such as these are simply ones which die. For example, Blockband.
Anyways, that's just my opinion. I don't really think there are a lack of updates. Just a lack of *quality* updates.
The thread says nothing bad about Cubecraft. He's just trying to get a poll of why people leave.
He's literally just asking a question.
