Well lets compare that to 1.9 now.

Title says it all. Better hitboxes, hit detection, blockhitting, better animations and more. Not saying 1.8 pvp is better (Even though I think it is).

Tipped arrows are cool and all but axes make no sense. I get minecraft isnt spose to be hyper realistic or even realistic but it makes no sense in general.

I wouldn't have a problem with a 1.9ers if they didn't use this as a argument. Almost all 1.9ers just say that 1.8 is just about who can click faster. What about aim, strafing, comboing, latency, straight lining, block hitting and others?
