Title says it all. Better hitboxes, hit detection, blockhitting, better animations and more. Not saying 1.8 pvp is better (Even though I think it is).

There are players who hate 1.9 combat beyone belief and want to be able to play PvP on Cube, but won't join PvP on the 1.9 network despite 1.8 combat just bc the version number required to join is that of a version in which vanilla combat is 1.9.Why have CubeCraft to make more games on 1.8?

Yes skill required. Bc of the higher pace (more clicks) of 1.8 strafing is harder. Also jitterclicking does take skill bc the more cps you have, the more likely you are to be able to hit the opponent as soon as the invincibility wears off. The two require massively different skillsets, neither one requiring more than the other. In 1.9, it's about timing hits. If you miss a hit and the other person hits you, the chances are different, or if you hit to early you do less damage. This opens up the chances of winning a battle for someone with less armor or a worse sword, because it's now about timing your hits, as where with 1.8 every hit did damage no matter the time in between, so someone with better armor wouldn't need to do as much to kill someone with worse gear.Explain the logic behind that, sir.

I honestly didn't know people this dumb existed. We can duel in 1.8 and I will let you use an auto clicker set to 30 clicks per second. You won't win. I'm serious, my discord is CryOnThatL #0833, the pvp in the 1.9 lobby is not 1.8, far from it, the hit reg is trash, everything feels so clumsy since it's 1.9. if you log onto any 1.8- server with a 1.9+ client they don't just simply reduce the cool down. This also has nothing to do with aesthetics, oh good, the sound of the 1.9 hits gives me nightmares, I don't think there are 1.7 animations mods for 1.9+ either, not to mention you need to get a whole new version of forge and all your mods each update.Not saying 1.8 pvp is better
