FIRST, BEFORE READING, YES I'M GLAD ARCADE RECEIVED AN UPDATE AFTER LIKE 2 YEARS AND I DO APPRECIATE ALL THE WORK PUT INTO THE UPDATE.
- Layer Spleef
I am not sure if this is or isn't original compared to other servers but I don't care, you guys did a great job on this. Previously Spleef was somewhat boring after playing X amount of games, but mixing multiple types of spleef is a fun and good addition. But what happened to Pizza Spleef? This was quite funny to play. Now ofcourse, maybe not everybody enjoys effects in a game of spleef, perhaps make it that a Pizza Layer will only appear max. 1 time a game?
Apart from this above here ^^ I can say you guys did a pretty good job on Updating Spleef.
- Paintball
I think you guys also did a good job on Paintball. Adding self-generating structures is a good thing as it's quite fun. Power-UP's? I'm 50-50 on this as I personally prefer games without them but they can be fun, I can understand that. Adding a regular gun, Shotgun. Machine Gun and Rocket Guns are good aswell. Instead of playing literally the same every game you can now vote for multiple guns. Adding a Team Selector after such a long time is also very appreciated.
Another thing that some people might NOT enjoy and some will, is removing CTF Paintball. When I play CTF Paintball chances just ONE flag gets captured is usually <1%, perhaps some people might miss this but I don't mind.
Now there is only ONE thing I'm not that happy about. That's the max. of 30kills before a game ends. What I liked about the previous Paintball was the fact is was like 3mins. (or more, forgot what it was) just shooting and the team with most kills would be the winner. I'd like to see the max-kill thing either be changed for the old system of a time limit instead, or make this a voting option aswell to decide if it becomes a kill/time-max game.
Non the less, the Paintball Chances are 99% well done and appreciated.
- Barn Brawl
It's not my kind of game and I won't play it because of that reason.
There for I have no comment on this game.
- Wing Rush
Now this is another game that's quite fun to play. But there is a small problem with some of the power-UP's.
The 10 Arrows Power-UP; Come on, the chances to even hit a flying, moving target ONCE has to be <1%. This power-UP is quite useless if I'm honest.
Blindness Wave; This is just the most rage-creating, annoying, broken Power-UP. You see, with blindness you only see like less then 5 blocks around you. Who thought this would be good as a Power-UP in a game where you have to see what is AHEAD of you in order not to crash into a wall. This is just extremely annoying, this power-UP guarantees you to crash unless you're flying through a part you know like it's nbd.
It's a fun game and enjoyable from time to time, only con are some of the Power-UP's.
- Line Dash
Even tho it's literally Snowdown copied and used as an Arcade Game, it's alright.
I personally would've prefered to see this being kept as a Season-exclusive minigame, BUT I know plenty of people who love this game, and I'm sure they will love this game.
Because I'm not THE biggest Snowdown fan I'll have no comment on this minigame.
- The new lobby
I honestly do not understand why some people want the old lobby back. I mean I think even today's Builders will agree it was outdated compared to today's standards. I mean yes, the old Arcade Machines were a fun thing really showing it was an Arcade. But I rather see this new lobby being kept. The ONLY reason I can see why people miss the lobby, is that it was the last old Cube lobby there was. But I personally love the new lobby.
But the entire ''Old-lobby'' sort-of discussion is literally just 100% opinions.
Now this is where things are going to become interesting
- The bugs found literally after Arcade opened less then an hour
Seriously? You Update a game FINALLY after TWO YEARS and the game is available about LESS THEN AN HOUR and game-breaking bugs are already found, from:
- Games not starting
- People magicly floating upwards in a lobby
- Games not ENDING
The game thought I won 1947 Paintball games after my FIRST GAME wouldn't finish. Free Archievements I guess? Way to go!
I mean seriously, how much do you guys even test these Updates backscreen? Not enough when all these bugs are found withing less then an hour. We can compare this to UHC and FreeBuild, we waited so long, we got it, but rather broken and dead due to failures. I beg you to god, test these games more to prevent these huge game breaking bugs to be found BEFORE it's released.

HnS wasn't available since the 1.9 Update because of outdated Plug-Ins. While you guys decided to ignore the entire community hoping for it to return you told us nothing and just did this. Removed it. With so many supporters.
This is one of the biggest disappointments the server has ever made. Is it too much to ask ONE small Arcade Game to RETURN? I mean seriously, JUST ONE SMALL GAME.
- Removal of everything else
Hour Glass: I can understand this was removed, with 1.9 Combat the PVP Shovels did no to few damadge, the wither always just targetted one specific player and this game laggs even more then FreeBuild when it was released again.
Quakecraft: Why. As far as I'm aware this game worked perfectly fine.
TNT Run: Again why, this game worked fine without any problems as I'm aware.
Parkour Minigame: Although it was an interesting game, it was even more dead then UHC is by now. It worked fine and I can understand why it was removed.
Super Craft Bros: Now this is confusing to me. After the 1.9 Update kits were horrible unbalanced because of the cooldown. Wither, Skeleton and Blaze were dominating the game. But how much work is it to rebalance them? Apart from that it had some bugs, spawning in a flatland, getting stuck in a building due to and enderpearl, or STAYING IN THE SPAWN due to using an Enderpearl just as the game teleports you, these should all be fixable. The only reason why this could've been removed is due to it being dead.
I mean come on, you could've just kept most of these. Why remove these games everybody liked? (With exception of like 1 - 2 games maybe).
Even though you guys added cool and fun new little things, you still manage to trigger the community. Who else but Cubecraft? I mean come on, you could also just have created a thread telling there are plans for Arcade.
You coudl've asked the community what they wanted! If that'd be done then you wouldn't receive all this negative feedback now.
