How to fix mid camping once and for all

Here's a nice easy way to eliminate mid camping in terms of diamonds. Once this is done, we can finally push more things forward in eggwars.

What will be added: "Corrupted Ender Pearl" - 32 Gold a Piece

Every single one of you will say "Ender Pearl for 32 gold? TOO OP BYE"

Except the ender pearl is corrupted. If the ender pearl lands, you'll be inflicted with the following status effects:
- 1 minute of Weakness IV (All melee attacks completely nullified)
- 1 minute of Mining Fatigue III (No mining blocks)
- 15 seconds of Glowing (No sneaking onto islands)
- 2 carrying limit in inventory
- All non-diamond tokens are lost on impact

Those 5 impacts will pretty much eliminate any use for this item besides dealing with mid campers as it's completely useless for island attacking (unless the map is high enough so you can avoid the glowing effect) and you can't run due to the carrying limit and the fact that you lose any gold you're carrying.

If you ask me then "camping the middle", which isn't really considered camping, is a great tactic for all moments in the game. Having such an ender pearl could simply be "abused" by running away for the one minute without any problems, which shouldn't be too hard to do.

If you have a level 4 gold generator, it would take 32 seconds to generate enough gold for an ender pearl contra 160 seconds for a regular ender pearl using a maxed diamond generator. That's just my thoughts though :')

See, the problem I have with this is: People would just get a bow, and then camp someone's island if the players are at the middle to wait for the effects to
wear off. After that, they get a free egg. They could also easily just bring a few pieces of tnt with them in this same scenario if they never had a bow, in order to blow up the bridge to mid.
I don't see this fixing mid camping all too well, as it easily becomes useless by the time someone has enough gold for the pearls. The people in the middle will definitely have a good sword by then, and will probably easily kill you while you're dealing with all those effects.

Meh. Someone can just go enderpearl to a base, no one can notice, wait like 2 minutes, then easily break the egg. I don't think its a good idea to add this. It probably wont change anything.

I’m all running away from PvP , but this seems like an EASY getaway strategy , likely to cause more problems than solve midcamping.

And this ^ . Just wait for the effects to wear off ; run around , camp high with a bow. Its basically a cheap ender pearl, especially at the end of the game , where we can CHUG GAPPLES till the effects wear off.

Come up with something else. Items wont help mid camping tbh , only differently made maps will.

With this you could just pearl somewhere and bow spam all you want, nothing's stopping bow spamming, no slowness, no blindness, I'm going to have to say no, also what would happen if you teleport to the mid campers, they completely destroy you, (unless you have a punch bow) you do no damage, can't make a spleef trap, can't even do knock back, erm , I guess you can loot diamonds and bring them back home to power your generator? But that is 1 stack of gold to get there and back. And what's to say they don't 3 tap you while you're there?

Although I still think mid camping is a problem, I don't think this is the solution.
The only way I see this item working is if you have 2 corrupted ender pearls. tp to mid, somehow not get killed. take some diamonds and tp back. Sure it's possible but probably not for most players.

Also, it will cause more problems than it fixes. Just imagine chasing someone who is at low HP and him then just tp'ing towards an island without any bridges connecting it. He now got away no problem.
Now with this example you might say "just tp towards that island as well", but the debuffs of the running player will end faster than yours giving him the upper edge again. I could go on but you should get the point.

While this would solve mid camping i think it would work to well, something this overpowered could even extend the game
