After reading this post, do you agree that multipliers are overpowered?

I do understand your post, but I just want to make you realise that the chances of them changing the multipliers is pretty low. Players were already complaining after the first day and Camezonda told them he liked it and wasn't going to change it. I just give some irl examples why somethings can't be done. I also know it should be a multiplier for everybody without the extra points you get for thanks. But they added it so more people would buy it. With as result that they can make more money/ invest more money in the server.

I don't think you understood my post at all then.
A company that sells a product and then reduces its cost in the future doesn't owe the customer anything. Therefore it's not a scam.

About this, I didn't even said that they aren't allowed to or that it is a scam. I gave the example of the Playstation for BringMeToHorizon because he came with the argument about the Iron rank. So I meant that they can do it.

About changing the perks or things you recieve, but not about the price change that @mitgobla said.
So hold on, let me get your point understood.
Adding perks to a rank or purchase is perfectly fine and allowed, yet removing perks is a scam?
I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. You could say it was a "scam" to previous customers who payed for and used multipliers before this update came out. It's not a "scam" to remove perks from an item, neither is it to add perks to one.

A scam would be you'd be promised X and not have that given to you. If they remove the overpowered points from "/thank" players would obviously be notified of that and it wouldn't be a scam for future customers.

It would only be unfair for people who bought one but hadnt used it before the features were removed. Even then this is a small number and can easily be refunded if they like. (since it was changed I believe they can get this.)

But you do not necessarily need to buy multipliers, to get points, I have 140,000 points and never buy multipliers, and the truth is the only way to spend them is in FFA,

Never said you need multipliers to get points

I have 140,000 points and never buy multiplier
And this is the point of my post, you have gained those points by playing on the server for countless hours whereas you can get 30k+ points in one hours sitting of doing nothing.

but you do not get many points with the multiplied ones, maximum you get 5000 in an hour

I'm sorry but if that's not many points to you I don't know what to say other than it would take many many hours to grind that many points playing games on the server. It's unrealistic to say that's not many points at all because actually that is a lot of points.
Plus when I used a multiplier I got way over 5000 so that's not a "maximum".

Would agree that the amount of xp you get from thanking or being thanked is slightly too op (Maybe around 5 for thanking and 10-15 from being thanked)
For points wise, i'll oki with, though maybe earn 2-5 points per 5-10 thanks? (Just an idea i had in mind)

Everything else in thread i'll agree with or i don't really mind, as well as bringing in rewards for those who dedicate time to the server
Though as said above about points from thanking, i would rather decrease rather than removing it completely :)

- Escalated

It's good that It's escalated. But please don't let this be escalated for months. The longer you wait the more damage will happen on the leveling system.

Yeah I can agree with that, meeting half way I suppose.

I mean hopefully, I'll be keeping this thread alive as much as I am allowed to so it doesn't get forgotten :p

Hi! I'm new, and I don't really understand necroposting. There is an option to tick that says 'I understand that this post is 3 months old and would still like to reply', should we just never tick that? If so, what is its purpouse?
