My opinion on the Skywars kits:

Alright, let's get staight to the point. Lots of Skywars kits are in my opinion useless..
Let's go through 'em all.
( Red = Useless / Orange = OK / Green = Good kits. )

Fisherman:
This kit is only handy in 1.8 because of the fishing rod.
Since the fishing rod can't hit people in 1.9+
The water can be usefull but I'm not choosing a kit to get only a water bucket.
How to make it better?: Make fishing rods hit people in 1.9

Yeah but you can still hit people off.

Lumberjack:
This kit is nice for rushing, amazing.

Spiderman:
Can be handy for people who know how to place cobwebs good.

Blacksmith:
Useless, why would you waste you time on that?
I do have to admit that in basic it'll be a good kit.
But still, why would you waste your time on that?

Digger:
This is pretty useless in all gamemodes except basic mode, since you can mine the diamonds and make diamond armor / a diamond sword, which you can't get out of the chests.
Biggest problem: You litterally get one diamond ore, what are you supposed to make with that? A diamond shovel?
How to make it better?: Start of by giving the people two diamond ores, instead of one. So you can actually make a diamond sword.

Redstone Master:
Useless kit, unless you want everyone to hate you and make traps.

Farmer:
Hoe with Fire Aspect is nice, only problem: Gold is useless.
It breaks way to quick.
How to make it better?: Stone hoe instead of golden

Chicken:
Kinda useless since I can't even knock people off on the map rainbow which gives you an island of 6x6 or something.
How to make it better?: Give people 64 eggs

Joker:
OK kit

Scout:
Amazing kit, but also really bad. The speed is amazing, yes. But since the pots last only 30s, it makes it hard to even kill one person with the speed. You can use the kit for one and a half minute in total, which is just.. oh god why? That's pretty useless.
How to make it better?: Make the speed pots last longer

Pyromaniac:
I never use the kit.

Archer:
Never use the kit but it's annoying as **** when you want to leave you island but some random derp is shooting arrows so you can't leave.

Enchanter:
Why the hell would you waste your time on that? Really.

Smuggler:
Nice kit.

Enderman:
I personally love this kit, but I can understand people hate it because people just pearl away.

Iron Golem:
Litterally the worst kit ever, why would people even use that? It's so bad omg.
How to make it better?: Make it full iron...

My opinion

Fisherman:

Agreed. The fishing rod is useless. You still get a free water bucket, sometimes a free kill if you know to use it correctly ;).

Blacksmith:

To combine sharp 1/2 iron swords together and make a powerful sword. Useful in Team SkyWars.

Digger:

Digger is supposed to help you mine the extra ore on your island, not to give you a combat advantage.

Scout:

It used to be Speed 1 with 1:30 but it was nerfed to <30 seconds and made to speed 2. I'd prefer the short bursts of speed.

Redstone Master:

Sadly the kit's sole purpose is for trapping/trolling.

Farmer:

Remember Fire aspect is pretty OP, It's a good decision to go with the gold version since you don't have many uses.

Iron Golem:

Again it used to be full iron but it got nerfed to oblivion... my suggestion is that they make it a chestplate and boots instead of leggings and helmet.

Swordsman:

It's a great weapon in basic, be smart with what kit you go for in each gamemode.

Because Some people, want to make their armor/weapons better by combining them together. And also you can troll players with your anvil.

Agree. I never play this kit. But If they added 2 diamonds it also would be useless, since you can get better swordsman out of a chest.

Disagree. Gold is Breaking really fast, and If you have a stone hoe, you can use it for longer, and would be a bit unfair.

It would be usefull in solo skywars either but you can get a sharp 1/2 iron sword and that's good enough in my opinion.

Well the spee ends so quick it's pretty useless but i still use the kit.

That sounds great. I actually want to try this.


But, the kit I think is the best for op is the one with the 14 tnt, gold boots, ect. Because it gives enough to do a small tnt jump twice.
