I never mentioned how "expensive emerald rank is".. I just said it's barely worth its price and doesn't need much altering.
Your post didn't say what the emerald rank gets. To me, what you said sounded like some of the perks that Obsidian gets (that I quoted and said are in emerald) are exclusively for Obsidian, and I was correcting that.
The issue isn't always the customers'. Sometimes the pricing is unfair and no one would buy that product, and the company will be forced to lower the price. Either that, or a costumer's dissatisfaction with a product may also lead to them not spending time or money on the network anymore, because they may feel like they were scammed out of their money and they'd like a refund (which is possible btw). But, again,
@Marieke2001 explains why, although the rank isn't worth it, people should still buy it, because it shows you're supporting the server and you don't care about the perks. Issue is, you also gotta cater to the people who do care about the perks sometimes.
Now.. If you actually read my posts, I said we should
not lower the price of obsidian, rather, make it more worth it, in hopes of getting even more people to buy it. Adding more abilities and perks to the rank in order to make it more worth it. In which,
@Camezonda already said that he agrees that Obsidian should get a few more things added to it as well to make it more purchasable and worth buying.
Nothing in this post is up to you either. Nothing in this entire forum is up to anybody. Who cares about opinions and feedback nowadays?
That is because the store doesn't specify the price of the phones, the company does. Huawei sets the price of their products, the store raises the price a tiny bit more in order to make profit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: I have to include this here as well;
A phone costs money to manufacture, and the company calculates how much they spent in order to make that phone. (In this case, dev time for the perks in ranks); then they raise the price a bit, enough to be able to make a profit out of that product. Or, in the case of Apple phones, they make the prices like 30 times more than the phone is worth.
The Huawei company has gotten very successful because of their very cheap phones (Nova series and other ones), and guess what? They still make profit out of those cheap phones as well. Because they're worth the price, and even more. The company works on making deals with other companies in order to make the cost of the phone lower, and then sell the phone for a low price, and still make profit as well.
I can disagree with you. Cubecraft is a company and needs to sell things to their customers in order to keep going. If no one buys their ranks because it's not worth it, then isn't it CubeCraft's fault now? Hm.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying no one is buying Obsidian, or that no one should, I'm just giving an insight on how companies work, at all, to make a profit out of a product.
