I honestly haven’t been noticing any lag today, but as a selfless person, I think of the people who struggle to play CubeCraft smoothly.
You heard him, please don’t lock this thread despite the fact that WE, as a Bedrock community, win this time. We know what’s best for our server, and I think you should be aware of that, too, especially Java staff.
Literally crashed 7 times today, I haven't crashed a single time since they added NA servers
THIS ^First off I dont know if its even possible to downgrade servers like cubecraft once you update them, but if it is then do it because of the reasons below.
While most people play the latest version of minecraft, some people have downgraded for many reasons and its easy for bedrock but ig not many people know about it so in the end most people are still on 1.17

recently cubecraft updated to 1.16.201.
Why. Its not like it was needed? 1.16.0 was only about a year ago and .201 was 5 months ago. They were still fairly new and there was no bugs with them. Completely unessential to do something like this.
The most significant change is the FPS. For VR and Low end devices its downright impossible to play any version thats renderdragon+. 10fps is the most you can really get because microsoft thought it would be fun to mess around with something. And believe me most people dont have super GPUs.
Anyways this was meant to be more of a rant because I doubt that its actually possible or they will actually do something like this. Guess I just have to go play another server.
Please react withso that the devs can actually see how much hated this decision really is and why it is a terrible idea. Also vote on the poll incase they lock this so we can still be heard

Edit : you dont have to enable every version, just enable the last version where you can actually get acceptable fps, 1.16.40

I suppose, but unless I missed something the 30 positive vote part was only referring to old suggestions before the update. Either way, doesn't really matter as it's forwarded now
Personally, I didn’t expect the amount of controversy that this has created.
I’ve always naturally updated my Minecraft as the updates have come out and I’ve never downgraded once. For me I’ve never felt or experienced any issues or problems within the game whether it be with ‘input’ or ‘lag’ and et cetera.
I play on my laptop (I don’t know much about computing or understanding the specs of it) but it’s not particularly powerful and it can only run 60 FPS but will nearly always run 60 FPS. I’ve noticed a few screen freezes once every twenty minutes but absolutely nothing significant which is what confuses me about the issues.
There are other players who similarly experience no problems in frames or input delay but this doesn’t speak of the noticeable amount of the player base, especially the competitive side. Many people run Minecraft on an older version to gain the maximum performance.
As staff and developers, their job is to create the most enjoyable experience for everybody. Innovation is good and progression is good but this feels largely needless. It’s been pointed out that this helps close the gap between IOS, console and PC and prevents exploitation of mechanics. Again, I won’t pretend to understand this all perfectly but there will still naturally be a divide in skill amongst players. This update has caused far more unhappiness than anything else and as shown by the poll results, it’s overwhelmingly against the update.
I truly don’t think the solution is to bring those with advantages down and it should be an endless pursuit of bringing those with disadvantages up. Otherwise we’re going to do nothing but kill off a growing community and that would be extremely unfortunate.
I want this community to stay alive so I urge the staff and developers to discuss the possibility of reopening support for prior versions.

completely agree, 1.16.40 is arguably the the most stable version of minecraft bedrock after 1.12.1. It is roughly on par with Java 1.14 in terms of features and stability. The competitive Cubecraft community is arguably one of the best ways to grow the server, leaving them in the dark and not listening to the competitive communities opinion will be a great loss for Cubecraft. A good example of a server which has succesfully grasped their competitive community is The Hive, their competitive community has been thriving as it has been supported by the Hive Mod team.

When i could still play on cube with 1.16.100 i 1v1'd my brother. First fight he was on 1.16.100 and second fight he was on the latest version. First fight was fairly even but in the second fight i was getting 10+hit combos, his aim was all over the place, all because of the input delay.

They dont care about us since the nons make them more money even tho we have bought everything and some of us have been since the start and cared about the server.
It's so funny seeing people arguing blah blah blah putting wall of text nobody reads and basically starting drama in the forums. I could watch this all day 
Why does people want it back?
Look how much FPS a developer got with a 3090 GPU 5 so why should they add it back? it gives not more fps then you should get? so i voted No
