Possible Bowspam Resolution.

I have a small suggestion here you all today.

Suggestion:
1-2 Second cool-down when shooting bows.

Why should this be a thing?
It will prevent bow-spammers from constantly shooting arrows in your face.

Explanation:
Whenever you shoot your bow, you have to wait 1-2 seconds until you can start to pull the bow back again. This addition will help prevent bow-spamming.

How I though of this?
I was playing about a week ago, when I came across a bow-spammer in eggwars :V
I was really annoyed, so I though of this suggestion.

I only agree with for this in Eggwars as I really wouldn't like it being added in Skywars. There're loads of bowspammers in Eggwars and not on Skywars.

Great idea bow spammers are very irritating maybe you get a time of 2/3 seconds?
Whaha, you have this discovered by eggwars I play often eggwars there are a lot people play skywars with a bow and that is so irritating...
If this would be added would that be very awsome! ;)

Like it, but maybe just 1 second, you can't cooldown the bow for more than 2, would be boring...
Also, shields are not that expensive and bows are a lot more expensive than before...

Im not a fan of this suggestion particulary if you have to quick snipe a few players bowspam in my opnion is not a big deal as i dont see it hardly as bows are useless at close range

I agree with this I have been killed soo many times because of being bow spammed straight in the face this will stop bow spamming no doubt about it so I totally agree.

I don't really think this is a problem.
And the current solution only changes the vanilla mechanics more, making it annoying to play for newer players.
If you manage to get bowspammed off, the one at fault would be you. It's not too hard to prevent it from happening, so I don't think this mechanic needs to exist.

I really don't like bow spammers like everyone else. So I agree with this, and as long as bows get a cooldown then I don't mind how much the cooldown is. ;) Great suggestion!

I think that the best solution imo would be to have a system which makes more damage do more knockback, meaning that tapping right click does little kb but a full on bow shot does normal knockback, this would fix bowspamming imo.

Plz no. This could affect normal players as well not just spammers. Think of this scenario. You're running across a bridge and the enemy is chasing you. You arrive at the island and turn to shoot. You miss your first shot and try to shoot again but the cool down won't let you.

0.5 seems to be ok..
I agree with the suggestion because i know how annoying it is to be spammed.

I don't think shields work that smoothly, the speed you go at is when holding the shield up is very slow, and the time it would take for the bow spammer to run away would be wayyy tonquikcnfornyou to catch up with him/her since they could be shooting you whilst you run, which could consult in major cutbacks in running towards them. Conclusion:- Great suggestion, needed to be added ASAP.

You can run and put up your shield. Arrows don't travel that fast.

Ah but when you unblock the chances of bowspam are higher so they can hit you more when you aren't blocking (judging on the distance between you and your foe).

Blocking Spammers only helps in one situation. It would be a blessing with a curse.

Not a plugin
No IDK about bopw spoammers... I like them and I'm one my self ;)
Cool Downs could ruin a game
Its not natural plus the more you spamm the lower range so really its not nessisary ;)
